If I told you my other team I'd then have to kill you  ; but it's pretty much the usual suspects, the only names I'm considering that I've not seen previously mentioned are Lanzini and Fraser.

Leaves 0.2 cash I think. Thought about squeezing Aguero in, but reluctant to omit any of the 3 strikers here. Others suggesting 4-3-3; have no problem with that if that is the consensus (or what Nbbeee on his return from the mountain from the mountain) prefers.

How about Aguero starts sat and sat night transfer in Auba. Best of both worlds. Lol

Like it. I’m won over on the Auba issue, but I keep coming round to Pepe when I look at the fixtures and belief he’ll soon be fantasy gold. So whatever happens I’ll hedge my bets and take a punt in one side with Pepe and go with a cheap 3rd striker (quality picks this season compared with last where I remember someone flouting Danny Ings). With 3 big up top in the other (including Auba).

I’m less sold on Zinchenko with Mendy ready to return. Same with Guilbert, it’ll end in tears.

Here’s my non-Auba line up.

Ederson

VVD
Otamendi
Digne
Soyuncu

Pepe
Fraser
Mount

Salah
Sterling
Haller

0.2 in the bank.

If Nbbeee’s absent we could always let the current chip leader decide

I was going to suggest that the current leader decides.

That'll be Malrom then, when you factor in transfers used :P .

That’s an optimistic take on points per transfer by your standards

Points in the bag and all that. Seriously though, I’m happy to oblige but we’re getting late in the day, so I’m equally happy with a free for all from here.

Given the consensus for Auba I’d go with this, going budget in midfield over defence where I see good value.

Ederson

Otamendi
VVD
Digne
Soyuncu

Lanzini (capt Mon)
H Wilson
Mount

Salah (capt Sat)
Sterling
Auba (capt Sun)

Pretty much all captains covered for the foreseeable.

Or if going without Auba see post further up (same defence of set + forget until Jan).

I'm going with the following:

Gunn/Pope
TAA
Digne
Soyuncu
Zinchenko
De Bruyn
Richarlison
Mount
Salah
Sterling
Haller

Obviously no Arsenal there but I quite like a slightly cheaper forward and will probably move Haller to Vardy in due course.
Auba will come in for Salah in GW8 although I have no real problem with him being in from the start.

Most of the sides on here look absolutely fine though.

I believe a transfer is worth 11.000001 points :P

In a way I understand your eagerness, as its probably your best chance of ever getting to pick again  I believe the last time you picked was the start of my multi format domination 8-) . So no objections here.

Seriously though I suspect it may now be a little late to get everyone aboard with the same team, but its absolutely your call and I'm happy to go with whatever you decide.

Just to complicate matters I notice Nbbbee has changed his team and put in captains, whether its his final team or not who knows.

Don't know if Nbbeee is still tweaking or not.

I don't like Adrian as i'm sure Allison is back soon.

Don't mind Aguero over Sterling.

No Mane or Salah - i don't mind this particularly, though i'd prefer VVD over Robertson if we are relying on a Liverpool defender for captain.

I'd rather see a Leicester player either Soyuncu for Digne/James/Cantwell or madison/tiellemans for James/Cantwell or Vardy for Wilson & the other wilson for James/Cantwell.

That Adrian pick deserves more abuse than i got for going with Kepa.

He costs at least 1 transfer to get away from which will have to be done and it's not as though Liverpool have a great run of fixtures

Ok, so given its late Thurs I’ll make a call. The spirit of ISO is to start with the same side, it’s half the fun and differentiates ISO from a standard mini league. In the absence of Nbbeee on here (and liking of Adrian), as current chip leader I’m going to start with the side below. Please join me if you wish :)

However, this is Nbbeee’s right to pick, so should he appear and decides otherwise tonight, lets go with his choice instead.

Either way the side is finalised tonight. Sound fair?

I’ve based the side below on a safe back 5 from strong sides and full of bonus (I just don’t fancy Zinchenko now with Mendy close). A budget midfield with bags of potential (Wilson/Mount bagged almost 30 champ goals between them last season). Plus the big 3 up top, all with a 50 pointer around the corner at some point.

I’ll stick this on the main thread too, suggest we move back to there now.

Ederson

Otamendi
VVD
Digne
Soyuncu

Lanzini (capt Mon)
H Wilson
Mount

Salah (capt Sat)
Sterling
Auba (capt Sun)

0.2 spare.

Now my other side  see other thread Cpt as Nbbeee has posted his team on there last night.
