Average points per week

I'm assuming to win the game i'd need close on 100pts per week average. Does that seem about right?

Varies a lot season to season. I won with about 90. Dan won with high 70s I think.

Thanks, i've come up with a couple of ideas for my 2nd team that i think might be a bit different. I'll play it safe with 90 as i do wonder if there are more match days and therefore more captain points available now.

This will give me an idea if these crackpot teams are viable.

90 is probably aiming too high. That year Salah was very cheap so you could assemble a ridiculous team.

Come up with a few ideas but it still means hitting at least a 20pt captain every week. I suppose if i can do that half the time and gain 20pts a transfer from half my transfers then it's possible.

If you ever read Winning Team stories you would be amazed how sensible their teams are.

Not that many left field picks. More about the 50/50s going in your favour time after time.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've come up with a team i'm very happy with. Weakest link is a 2pts a game mid and the team should average around 55pts a week which leaves me to make up the shortfall with decent captain picks.

Also don't need to do any transfers until the end of Oct as every matchday has a captain.

Based on last seasons players points per game. I'm hoping it serves me better than just my own personal bias on players.
