Week 12 Captains

Had a poor week last week, but redeemed myself on Monday by bringing in Ozil and with 36pts he made my weekly score respectable, and i'm hoping for a repeat performance. T2 is struggling now and after putting Firmino in my team and he didn't start, it's time for redemption and he'll be captain this time round to try to justify my transfer

The good thing is the Chelsea game kicks off at 1:30pm Sunday so you'll be able to see the team news and then sort the captain accordingly.

I might go Hazard to KDB for a few weeks anyway. Hazards form has dipped and a dodgy back can play up for weeks so his form might be iffy for a while.

Almost into the top 200 again with T1 even with 2 garbage Fulham players, T2 had a great day and back into the top 1000 however i've burnt up way too many transfers with that team to be a threat.

I'm annoyed as my gut told me to bring in Ross Barkley yesterday and i could have got 22pts but didnt want to change to a player for one or two games. Instead i'm waiting on team news today to bring in KDB

i didn't what to show him up, as i can't wait for another condescending comment where the opportunity arises to captain a premium defender.......although it might not be this season

and explain why I didn’t captain Lacazette.

As for the challenge people I am in mini leagues in lurk on these pages and a team I put forward would
have been too similar to my main team. Doing well in the Mini Leagues is my priority.

Laporte with a nice 22 as captain. Highest league position to date for me, 723rd. 98 this week. Some shit scoring players still though.

Apart from Salah they were my next highest scoring!

Rule No.1 - Never ever captain premium defenders

Pretty sure no-one on this site has ever said that. I've said on here before that premium defenders are wasted on my strategy as i'd never captain them. I've had to re-evaluate that slightly as Laporte is a must have at 8.8m and i've changed from 4 to 3 in midfield.

I'm still of the opinion though if you have a choice of captains for a game the majority would go with the premium striker rather than the premium defender or do you think i am wrong there? Last night i had Laporte and Aguero and went with Aguero

That ship has sailed for me. I was going to go Hazard to Barkley on Sunday but didnt fancy using up 2 transfers as Hazard would have to be bought back in as soon as fit (which i'm assuming will be Sunday)
