Time of the monthlys

SquadGod has launched a free-to-play monthly version of their season long game.

With the monthly format, it doesn't matter what point in the season people choose to start playing, and it is perfect for fantasy football fans who have given up hope in their season-long games.

At the start of each month, you can pick a whole new team, and if you play by the default rules and scoring system, you're in with a chance of winning the £500 of prizes up for grabs.

I have set up a league for anyone who is s out of contention in their season long game, but still wants a shot at glory.

I have already started a FISO monthly league, that at the time of writing has 7 members. That said I'm such a fantasy football addict that if enough people enter this league also, I may just start another team.

Patrick is there a limit to how many SquadGod leagues I can be in?
I'm in 5 season long and 2 monthly leagues so far.

What are the game months?Are they every calender month?If it's, competition starts on 1st of December right?
Are we having transfer amnesty until game month starts?
I can't find the answers of my questions on rules section.
I found it lack of information with this game tbh,or is it just me?

ok fair enough,no responses.

I've just setup a team incase competition starts this week.But I'm not even sure when is the last time to setup a team.I hope 12:28 pm wasn't too late.

No, there's probably a lack of information (my fault).

This month's is a short one as we've just rolled out this game variation. The next gamemonth (and 11 transfers) are:

Gameweek 14: Sat, 01 Dec - Wed, 05 Dec

I'll update all the help files and FAQ's next week.

Sounds like you missed the deadline - it's 11.30am GMT (I know that bit's in the helpfiles).

.You should better call it this week.
So,this month's games only this weekends and wed's games.
That means I'm not too late.I can join for December, which is next week.

Ok,is there an amnesty period until saturday? or once we submit our team we would have only 1 transfer like normal competition.That's why I didn't want to enter my team too early,I wasn't sure about that rule.

* December – Gameweeks 14-19
* January – Gameweeks 20-23
* February – Gameweeks 24-26
* March – Gameweeks 27-31
* April – Gameweeks 32-35
* May – Gameweeks 36-37

There are currently two FISO related monthly groups (mine and Blueprints), feel free to join either/both

The group info in this post is slightly wrong. My Fiso league is called FISO Monthly League http://www.squadgod.com/groups/FISOMonthlyLeague

The Cotopaxi Monthly League I set up for non FISO members and is mainly filled up with Team Talk Forum members and a few others from other leagues I'm in.

Thanks Nigel! I think the only QPR players I will be selecting in the next few years will be ex-players! I know I have missed a gameweek for this month, but it does look a great game (and I have Muntari!). The site is not particularly Mac friendly, though. Doesn't work in Safari (iPod touch transfers out), just about works in Opera, but the stated supported Firefox takes an age to log-in, if at all. Never mind, it works enough for me to play it

mmm... it seems that I can't do much with my team in any Mac browser, all the latest versions of Safari, Opera, Firefox, IE, Netscape. Shame.

Hi all!

First off, Patrick has been a great help in trying to sort out my Mac problems. So, for any other Mac users out there, try a few things with your cache log. Either by having it disabled or regularly clearing the cache.

Anyway... just a quick question on the monthly group prizes. Is our whole group entered in a bigger league, or do we get prizes for finishing top three in our individual league?

Of course it's ok. That's the beauty of the monthly game. Late starters start on an even footing every 1st of the month and stand just as much chance of winning the prize money.
