:shock:

Could we not have a link to an announcemnt of the changes rather than one to a long list of matches to filter through.

3 Liverpool games moved in March for TV

(I looked for one on Sky but couldn't find it)

First midweek in March at 8 on Sky

Tuesday Black cats play in front of the Kop
Wednesday Big Sam hosts the other Mersey team

The next two weekends have a Saturday lunchtime game on Sky

The Top 2 in the League play first
The week after sees David Moyes' team go to Fratton Park

Sky's late afternoon games both involve Martin O Neill

On Sunday 15th Villa Park could see a repeat of the UEFA cup
game from two days before

And the following week Heskey goes back to Anfield

Sky are showing a popular Rugby League match at the
JJB which kicks off at 130

The Remaining 3 games are on Setanta

Sun 15th at 1330 sees the previous richest club host the new Richest club

The next night sees the two "West *** " teams play in London

Finally as the Rugby has finished, they revert back
to a regular 1730 game on Saturday where gooners have to work out how to get home
from Geordieland

BBC say likely to be rescheduled for the 14th feb

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 858896.stm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So, if this is being played on the 14th Feb, does this mean they will still play the next round fo the FA Cup ont he 16th 2 days later (as originally scheduled)?

As the winners are at home there's no way they could make arrangements for the game with 2 days' notice.

Always gets messy when there are teams a round behind, but not sure what else they can do in this case.

Move it to the Wednesday perhaps? What was the thing that Fergie uncovered about agreeing to play to a finish over one game? They could invoke that for the 5th round.

I remember the year we made the final, we had so many postponements and replays (back in the days when there was no extra-time and penalties and they had 2nd replays) and we were at least a round behind everyone else most of the way through. There were three or four-way either/ors in some of the draws! At least these days they know two games will settle it...

I don't think replays have any place in the modern game really but they're FA Cup tradition I suppose.

Guess playing the Arsenal replay on the 14th will also mean one of the actual 5th round ties will now be moved to the Monday to fill the TV slot...?

Now that Arsenal's 4th round replay match will be played on Feb. 16th,,, when will their 5th round match be played then?? (Assuming Arsenal wins)

Will it be on March 7th, when the other clubs are playing their 6th round matches,,, or will they postpone one of Arsenal's league matches in order to push through this FA Cup fixture??

See FA Cup Thread

Burnley would go to Cardiff on Feb 25th

Burnley would got to Arsenal on March 7 or 8th

I guess because the FA Cup Final is so late they dont need to finish the 6th Round on time

The cynics will say it is due to the 5 yellow cards amnesty starting at midnight
on Feb 28th

Hull v Blackburn on Feb 28 will now be played on Sunday Mar 1 at 1230

http://www.hullcityafc.premiumtv.co.uk/ ... 80,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This is due to Hull City playing their previous league game on Monday 23rd February and thus potentially having an FA Cup replay against Sheffield United on Thursday 26th February.

April TV changes are out - http://www.premierleague.com/page/Fixtu ... 06,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
- http://www.premierleague.com/page/UKAnd ... 06,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Looks like they're missing one game from both the first and third weekends in April.

MU v Pompey re-arranged for 22 April according to that as well.

Eve v Stoke reversal?

Post by SamD »

The British National Party event in Liverpool has just been cancelled (see post above).

So Everton's league match against Stoke may return to its original date of Sat 14 March.
