At least 4/5 inches in lingfield, near Gatwick but above freezing so doubt it will settle once it actually stops snowing. Heavy snowfall at present though.

Showers all day I imagine. We've had some heavy showers down the coast although nothing's lying. I friggin' hate the stuff but the rest of the household wets their pants at the slightest flurry.

it's snowing in Guildford which is approximately 30 miles from central London. the snow's settled nicely though we wouldn't be needing the snow ploughs yet.

Live about 10 miles from Burnley and its been snowing since about 4 this morning, the expected thaw this afternoon hasn't materialised, most of the schools have been closed all day, there's panic at work for those that have to use the main A56 as there's cars abandoned still from this morning.

Word from Turf Moor at the moment is no inspection planned. I think the Clarets will never have a better chance of beating Arsenals young guns if there's a few inches of snow on the pitch.

A couple of inches of lying snow in Leeds this morning. Snow didn't melt off the car all day at work. More snow on the way home.
