Apparently the Asian Cup (equivalent of European championships) is being held in July. Probably wise to avoid players in that at the start of the new FF season.

that there will be a Full midweek fixture list in the Premier League
on Weds 15TH and WEDS 29TH August

This will mean that Liverpool and Arsenal will be TWO games behind
for Fantasy purposes at the end of August !!!!!
Carling Cup dates are now confirmed earlier than Usual
Premier League Teams not in Europe will now start on 29 August

Others will start on 24 September

This means only ONE midweek fixture for EPL in August

AND Liverpool and Arsenal will not be able to play this game until December

Loving this!! God a lad's golf/piss up weekend away to Marbella already pencilled in for the weekend of Sept 8th but was worried about missing any United games! Now I know I won't miss any games, plus I won't have to fart about trying to make any transfers for TFF in an internet cafe and I get to be out of the country during boring as f*ck Eng-er-land games!! Winner all round!! 8-)

Does anyone know when the German Bundesliga kicks off? I'm thinking about a blow-out in Munich or Berlin sometime in August and it would be remiss of me not to take in a game or two whilst there.

at a two week training camp before the event starts

Arsenal, Chelsea and Bolton are going to start moaning already

What gives Australia the right to transfer to the Asian Cup?

It's almost as ridiculous as the Auld Firm joing the EPL

Because Fifa wont recognise Oceania as a quailfying group for the world cup. If they did i wouldnt have a problem with you whinging about australia being in the Asian group. For 40 years Australia had to qualify for the world cup with a one off game with a south american country or asian country, while all the other countries played 20 to 30 games to qualify(How much of a disadvantage is that all the other teams play as a team 30 times and Australia has to come together for one game). As you saw with the last worldcup Australia didnt have a bad team. If i remember correctly last time Australia played england, Harry Kewell waltzed around Rio and Australia won. Give us a break and give us a fair go!!!

Probably Spurs as well - IF Mido, Ghaly, Ekotto and Zakora are still there next season. Hopefully, the first three will get the Spanish Archer in the summer.

FIFA has rules that state clubs must release players at least 14 days ahead of an international tournament.

As mentioned above a month ago, the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations takes place between Sunday 20 January and Sunday 10 February. So the Premiership players called up may miss the FA Cup third round and all domestic club fixtures for the subsequent five weeks.

Jose Mourinho, who is currently in Ghana on a charity mission with Chelsea, has suggested a compromise arrangement.
Monday's Independent covers this as well as the manager's transfer hopes:

It might be, but having had their fingers burnt last season, perhaps Sky won't be so keen.

Sheffield United's appeal to be reinstated in the Premiership at West Ham's expense is due to be heard on Monday 18 June. Here's confirmation, however, that fixture lists for the top four English divisions will be issued at 10am BST on 14 June:

And here's some background on how the lists are compiled:

The Scottish league schedule will also be released this Thursday.

They have chosen Arsenal v liverpool this year

The third weekend in September has by a large coincidence always had a blockbuster fixture for Sky each year

Last year it was a double header with both the Top 4 playing each other

Now by a strange coincidence it is Man U at home to Chelsea
