This is for a big work comp, won it 2 years ago and finished 2nd last season

i have 4 transfer windows (4 players in and 4 out) spread over the course of the season

thoughts on this for a starting eleven?

but not sure i am keen on an everton double block but they do have nice opening fixtures..................

I agree that this year maybe more than ever you need an enabler . James appears to be the flavour at the moment .
I’m toying with Brady instead of Jiménez . Under Rogers towards end of season he was scoring for fun . Just think he could kick on this season as Rogers has said he is looking to score more goals . The signing of Pérez should also help him ?

Maybe worth keeping an eye on Chelsea and Lampards high pressing game . May offer something in defence and maybe worth considerenjng the keeper .
I’ve also pencilled in Azpilicueta as a maybe too .

B. Silva should be £4.5m so deffo need to sort that out. Maybe Ederson and Digne out for Arrizabalaga and Azpilicueta. Good Luck.

Why would that necessarily be a good thing Walt?

Digne has good fixtures and Everton were pretty miserly on the run in. Zinchenko could well be a first choice for the champions elect and first or second most miserly defence.

Compared to a Chelsea double up?
Chelsea did get 16 clean sheets in the league, so not too shabby (Liverpool 21 / City 20).

Everton got 14 (10/18 from January 1st).

Has good stats 22 goals in 60 games in the last 2 years all be it in the championship , but for 1m could be worth a gamble. If you think he will play regularly.

Still think James is better value, now that Lukaku has gone, they failed to sign Eriksson and Pogba will be sulking.

James will be the stand out player for them.

Matip is a mistake - he will rotate with Gomez. Otamendi is cheaper and will play more.

so otamendi and matip both 3.5 million

anyone else have any thoughts on this?

hadnt considered otamendi but would prefer more europe coverage, as much as i like digne (whos in my other team)
