Soccernet has finally got their rules corrected about the transfer deadline:

There is ONE deadline for every gameweek. This deadline is the first kick-off of the gameweek. Any changes to your team (substitutions, transfers, formations) will come into effect for the deadline selected, provided you go through the Save Team process. If you don`t make any changes to your team the current team will continue to score points for you. The gameweek fixtures are displayed to the right of your pitch.

They told me this means the gameweek runs from Saturday through Friday, no matter how many or how few games are played in those 7 days. So there will be a lot of double gameweeks from December to February.

I also got an email from ESPN on behalf of Chris Knott.

There is nowhere that I can see to autorise team members and it seems weird that only a couple of you have got this message. There are 19 players in the FISO league already.

I created a team using a new ID : AdamMcA59 and then remembered my logong details from last year, which it turns out were still active, so I then created a second team "Comfortably Numb" ... both are entered in the FISO mini-league.

Could I ask the Administrator (hammerddh) to remove the team AdamMcA59 from the FISO League please?
Don't want to be in breach of rules by having two teams.

Is anyone else struggling with moving players on and off of the bench? I switched to a 5-4-1 formation as two of my strikers were damaged and a defender I didn't want appeared along with the wrong striker. I then couldn't swap BOTH the DF and ST; if I got the ST I wanted the DF reverted and vice versa I thought it was some obscure rule I hadn't heard of until I experimented with removing a DF I wanted for the one I didn't and then I was able to set my team up as desired.

Edit: by chance I looked at my previous teams and then went back into my team for the next GW and I'm back to having the wrong striker (the cap'ned one is one the bench!).

Making transfers or changing formations may result in the wrong players on the bench. You have to be alert about that. But once you have the squad you want, then get the right players on the field and the bench, your choices shouldn't be changed. To confirm, exit Soccernet and log in again, and see if it's right.
