I've been awaiting with interest such feedback about this season's game,and reading that made me glad I didn't persist with my attempts to register this season,despite having played the ESPN game for several years,with reasonable success.

I wanted to cut down sharply on the number of FF games I play -15 last season was far too time consuming.

So I decided that any website making it difficult for me to register would be one to delete,and this game fell into that category.

However,having played ESPN every week for so long,I was curious to see whether my initial misgivings had any validity.

I've no doubt that many others are enjoying the game,but I'm happy with the decision I made.

I also cut down the number of games I played this season but b/c this one was easy to set up and manage I stuck with it. Aside from issues over subs reappearing back in the team it seems fine.

I reckon I got rid of maybe 2 games (I just can't say no!) - how'd you fair grob?

I did better than you,DrB ! I think I'm down to 7 now,but Metro & Virgin I'm not taking seriously,and will dump next season.
Playing Virgin is a pain,but like yourself,once I've signed up to a game,I find it difficult to ignore my responsibilities !
I tried to quit Virgin,but once you've joined,it's like joining a cult,you're not allowed to quit !
The only thing going for Virgin is that it's strictly a single entry competition,which I think they'll enforce too.

One of the main reasons some folk play so many FF games I think is that many are run by the same outfit e.g OFL
So,you can enter the same team in several comps,as the prices and format are identical,making it quick to enter.
The snag is a late injury to a player in so many teams requiring transfers on Saturday morning can be a pain in the proverbial

I'm getting more enjoyment playing fewer games which is why I've decided on further cuts next season,to no more than 5

I'm only playing 8 (aside from the FISO ones) and all but one is single team. TBH I could live with just FPL with all of the sidegames - the banter etc is so good.

I do this for fun so I may also drop some more games next season as I've found that I'm enjoying it more with less 'pressure'.

I'm the same - if I had to choose just one game,unquestionably it would be FPL,for similar reasons to yours.

I suppose we've gone off topic, - maybe these posts should be transferred to a new thread devoted to this issue ?
