With major transfers still being made, I guess they're holding back. But it's only a month until opening day, and we need some time to pick our teams! The new game will be available in the next week or two. No exact date as yet I'm afraid.

I won 2,500 as runner-up last year, the winner got 5,000. I think the year before the winner got 10,000.
Good game but it is virtually just for fun now.

I have gone to registration. It tells me my username cannot be changed.
All fields are correctly entered, yet when I submit, it returns a message asking me to "Please correct the highlighted fields"

ok everyone, stop worrying - it seemed to have a problem because I had logged in to the site as they were bringing it back up. when i logged out and back in it took me directly to to the t&c's page.......
phew
not too happy about the decrease in prizes though, this comp and it's rewards was a nice little hidden gem. 40k entrants compared to the 2million in FPL, and the prize was massively better

yes,I experienced the same problem - "check the highlighted fields" it said, the only such one being my username which was correct.
Eventually,I realised the thing to do was to ignore the notice, and my team registered OK
Just waiting now for someone - Spencer4 ? to establish the Minileague and publish the joining code,if there's no ML prize this year as stated above.
Despite the reduced prize money (could that be the reason for the delayed launch - trying, unsuccessfully to secure sponsorship perhaps ?),there might still be many more entries this year,as last year's winner publicised his win heavily on the FFS Forum, prompting many who'd never heard of Cyki before to decide to enter this season.

At last!
Last season only 47,000 registered - 100,000 was the minimum in the other games I played. And I don't see how ISM Fantasy Games makes any money from CYKI anyway. So where's the prize money come from? The goodness of their hearts, maybe.
Just noticed: the rules now set no limit to the number of transfers in a gameweek, so there's no point penalty for making more than 2. Do they mean it?

Use the Transfers page to change your squad for the next gameweek. You can make 2 free transfers each gameweek. Each additional transfer made in the same gameweek will deduct 4 points from your total at the next deadline. Free transfers are not carried over.
