Holding at 1.5

Can’t believe nobody has mentioned Sanchez for 2m. He was a 7m player 2 seasons ago. I think he will be played as a forward if Lukaku goes

I’m surprised you’re even looking at 1.5 Holding Ronny😳 that’s way over your usual budget for one of your defenders🙂

My cheapy ive got my eye on isn’t even in the game yet😫 and no its not the new West Ham striker seb Haller who reporter on talkSPORT was raving about last week. Wikipedia him and he’s 6ft 3, 25, had something like 51 in 98 in Holland and 32 in 75 for eintract Frankfurt though tbh I’d not heard of him until this summer.
Mount Daniel 🤔

Edit: 3 mill haller

Sanchez is poverty and has lost his mojo. Like a Torres to Chelsea. Would have Callum Wilson quicker at a bigger price.

Tuanzebe for 1m? Getting decent game time pre-season, and a lot of praise from the boss. Could be scuppered by Maguires arrival, if that happens, but if not then could be worth a shout.

How about Foden for 2.5? Obvious question over regular games, but guardiola was gushing about him the other day. Will be key to see how city line up.

Also, lampard was keen on mason mount at 1.5m. If he plays, could be bargain of the season.

What type of midfielder is Mount? Defensive? Attacking? Haven't seen him play but does appear like he is rated by lampard.

Think he’s an offensive type (linking DM and attacks)

I think with Bailly out, Tuanzebe will get a look in, I’m going with him to start, boss likes him a lot too as he was due to go out on loan before OGS blocked it before pre season.

Tuanzebe? More chance of me playing. Lindelof and Maguire. Or Smalling/Jones for the latter if the signing doesn’t happen.

Does anyone (hopefully fans of Chelsea or United who will have an inside track of sorts) know who is more likely to start out of Barkley or James? Both have been useful in preseason but have others contending for their places. From everything I have read including yesterday's games where neither did it would not be a surprise if they started GW1

Barkley will play more minutes. James may play the cup games as well as sub minutes and is likely to face easier opposition.

Can see Chelsea playing a 4 2 3 1.

Barkley will probably be fighting out a place in the 3 against Willian/Pedro/Pulisic and potentially Jorginho as it has been reported he may play further forward this year.

While I can't see him featuring in the 3 behind the striker they may alternate formation where he is the furthest forward of the midfield in a 4 3 3 infront of kante kovicic or mount if he surprises and does well.

That could see Barkley on the bench more and when Loftus-Cheek comes back could be permanently there.

Either way both represent risks.

James could get you 5 goals of the bench and may be a few in the Europa league early rounds as well as league cup etc and at 1m he really only needs to get you 50 points to have done decent.

Could be a better prospect half way through the season than from the off.

What about McNeill of Burnley who should start. Could start with him end jump on James if it turns out he plays more and with Europe kicking in.

Not when McNeill is a starter for Burnley at 1m and has had a decent season last season under his belt and James of united is 1m who will see plenty of action in the cup and from the bench.

Another one who could do well although could feature more deeper as a number 8 is Joe Willock of Arsenal. Can play further forward and will have what I expect a decent season this year.

Decent being maybe 10 league starts, most of the early Europa league campaign and league and Fa cups. That could translate into 20-25 starts.

Callum Wilson to start off but....now that's a Wilson to keep an eye on ;)

He does start but unless he's going to get you 3-5 goals a season along with another 5 assists and ratings stay clear. Clean sheets won't be bournemouths strong point.

21 games last season which more came in the 2nd half of the season when he started to get established. 3 goals 5 assists. Looked quite a talent. I would expect more output this season. Not a great deal more but for 1m what do you want lol.
