If you could do the ratings for Argentina game Nightowl it would be appreciated.

The problem we could run into if the ratings are done the next day (say after work) is sometimes the ratings change. Alves had 7.12 20-30 mins after the Bolivia game but the next time I checked around 4-5pm he had dropped to 7.00. So if some of us see the ratings at the time and others see them the next day, it could cause problems.

We can't even screenshot the ratings at the time either as the ratings are rounded up, so you wouldn't know who actually had a 7 unless you clicked on the player.

You can get all the players ratings on whoscored, click on the match you need then when the pitch viewing comes up click on the green tab titled player statistics

Thanks for that. I didn't even think of clicking on player statistics. Will make things quicker/easier.

If people don't mind waiting for the points until the next day that would make things easier for me.

The Promoter will use the OPTA Defined Assists statistics to determine assist points allocations as follows:

- A Player making a pass with the direct intention to set up a successful goal attempt from an open play situation.

- A Player taking a corner, throw-in or free kick where a goal is scored directly from it by another Player;

- A Player shoots or passes forcing the defender to put the ball into his own goal;

- A Player who is awarded a penalty which is taken and scored by a team-mate.

The part in bold certainly seems to suggest Guerrero should get the assist considering previous assists were given to Richarlison and Pereiro (when not given as assists on WhoScored).

We need to be consistent going forwards whatever we decide on.

Not a bad idea letting someone like CBN or another impartial poster deciding on whether this should be an assist or not.

Obviously at the moment all the Guerrero owners will be in favour of awarding the assist and the non-Guerrero owners most likely against awarding it.

It’ll cost me a fair few points on revision but at least there’s always a definitive answer.

That's probably the route we will have to go down. At least it won't be too difficult to correct points at this stage - imagine if this had happened in the semis or the final
