Thoughts and feedback welcome

Hi all,

My current team is:

Ederson
Azpillicuita
VVD
Robertson
Doherty
Haz
Sterling
Pogba
Salah
Auba
Aguero

I have 0.3ITB and top my mini league by a few points. What are people’s thoughts on my current team and where it could be improved? Auba blinks this weekend, would it be wise to change him for Mane and go 442? Or do other people have better suggestions.

Any feedback would be much appreciated as people on here seem to be far more experienced than me.

Thank you.

How many transfers do you have available?

Auba blanks this week, but has Newcastle (h) after the international break.

The international break could be risky period.

If you’re comfortably top, I think it might be worth sitting on your hands until after the break.

Wolves have a double game week immediately after the international break. But you could consider swapping Doherty -> x after that

Thanks Zimmerman. Appreciate your feedback.

I have all 3 transfers left for the month. My closest rival who is 10 points behind has Mane. Given his form it worries me slightly.

Thanks again.

I wouldn't make any changes personally,if any it would be Doherty to a M/fielder but the Wolves v Man Utd game is a tough call.
Int break round corner, possible injuries.
Stick for me. :)

If you’ve got all three and the guy chasing has Mane I could be tempted to do Auba -> Mane in that case.

Still have two to play with post int. break

Thanks for your feedback guys. I’m gearing towards Auba > Mane. Will think about it overnight and make the call ahead of the game.

I may well message back in here after international break for your further thoughts.

Thanks again for your help and good luck at the weekend with your teams

I would swap Pogba for Mane. I can't see United beating Wolves easily so can see Mane outscoring Pogba this weekend. I know some may have both but one weekend isn't gonna affect things too much.

Then you still have Auba for games after the international break. Pogba has 2 tough champions league games along with games against city and Chelsea. From what we have seen this season he isn't exactly one for the big games.

Mane has Porto which should be decent points.

Auba will play in Europa and the League. On penalties and even if rested can come of the bench and score. Arsenals games are all winnable and should see Arsenal score goals....conceding is a different thing but I would keep Auba at this stage of the season.

Pogba has 3-1 games over Auba in the next two game weeks (I think).

All winnable. Definitely starts. Takes pens. Team
Doesnt go missing away from home.

Yeah may be best holding on to Pogba for another week I just expect the next while to be quiet from him.

Week 30+31 both Auba and Pogba have 3 games.

I also think that between now and the end of the season Auba will score more so if I had him now maybe I would keep him and reshuffle somewhere else.

Pogbas still in Xhakas pocket from last weekend so I'd argue he does go missing away from home 😂

With 3 transfers I’d go Aubameyang to Mane and then after international break swap Pogba back to Aubameyang.

But week 29 + 30 it’s 3-1 to Pogba.

Not a bad idea... just bear in mind that it’s

Watford (h) & Wolves (a) for Pogba

Or

Newcastle (h) for Aubameyang.

You/he can pull the trigger after the game week kicks off if he wants the 2 for 1.

Have a similar predicament, Trying to decide if I should swap Abamayang to a ManUnited striker, rival has Lukaku already but read he could be a doubt? is Rashford a better pick (assuming both start who would you go for?)

cheers.

Tough one that billy but as you said if they both start maybe I would favour lukaku cause he would most probably play through the middle and your rival has him

I think I'm leaning towards Lukaku also, thought he was unlucky last week and coming off a few 18/16pt hauls before, as you say playing through the middle sounds more promising too, cheers for the reply!

What does the guy's team who's chasing you look like? Potentially get a differential and look to match/block his team if it's just the two of you fighting it for top spot
