What's the thought on Batshuayi as a £2.5m striker?could be a decent bargain buy as he will get plenty service from zaha and Townsend.

Anyone at this stage of the game that is looking at a 2.5m striker who couldn't get a kick at Chelsea, was sent packing by struggling Valencia and who is joining a team that scores few goals needs their head checked.

A team that scores few goals...exactly why they got him in.palace create plenty chances,just don't convert them.he will be a guaranteed starter,not just a squad player that gets the odd 20 mins or so,and palace have a run of decent fixtures,of the next 7 they have f.a cup against Doncaster, and five fixtures against mediocre teams then a home game against man utd.

Short term replacement till Kane is back,if I was top of my mini league it would be different but as I am chasing I need a differential so hoping Batshuayi is the man.

I put him in this week as I changed formation to 4-4-2and put in Doherty last week in place of kane.that worked well,changed to 4-3-3 this week taking out richarlison.

Put him in a weekly but went firminho instead....

Be interesting to see which is the better pick over the long run but am leading towards Higuain

Its not the worse team,but like alot of other teams its injuries & rotation which is killing it but thats the nature of the game.
