The side also progressed in the DFB Pokal after beating Mainz 4-0 in the round of 32. The side are looking good on all fronts and Kompany must be pleased with what he has done so far. 

After the win of the French Champions in the UCL, Kompany said; “I’m obviously happy. Our pressing in the first half was very good. The discipline was there. We could have scored perhaps one or two more goals, but the result is good. We are on the right track but working to become even better.”

With the words above, the Bavarians have been excellent after a slow start and it seems all the players are on board with Kompany to finish the fine work he has started. With the manner they are playing at the moment, the Bundesliga title looks destined to be theirs and this game should see them claim another win on the road.
