The game is Free to play, but you are restricted to having only 1 team per person. The game is based on EPL games only.

What you could win.

1st Prize
The overall winner of Fantasy Premier League 2006/07 will win a VIP trip for two to a Barclays Premiership match featuring a team of their choice! The prize includes two night's accommodation (including breakfast) at a top hotel, all transfers, pre-match hospitality and £250 spending money.

Monthly Prize
This season the person who finishes top of the monthly leaderboard will be declared Manager of the Month and will win a home replica shirt of a current Premier League club of their choice plus two VIP tickets to a pre-selected Barclays Premiership match including match day hospitality. The selected match for the monthly winner in August 2006 will be confirmed in due course. Please note no alternative match will be offered.

Picking your Team
You need to select a 15-man squad with a £100 mil budget, with a max of 3 players per EPL team. Your team can play in any formation providing one goalkeeper and at least three defenders and one forward are selected.

You need to select 11 players to play for you each game week. There are 38 games weeks during the season and during this time you can do as many transfers as you wish BUT! Yes there is a BUT concerning transfers. Each game week you are allowed 1 Free transfer, any other transfers you do after this you get deducted 4pts of your score.. e.g. you make 3 transfers you will lose 8pts off your total.

There is a transfer deadline. Player values do change during the season; so if you believe a certain player will have a golden spell buy him before, then sell him for a profit later.

During the season you need to select a captain, which can be changed each game week, but whoever is your captain they will score double points.

Your substitutes need to be selected in an order you would want them to be used, but they only ever score if any of your squad does not appear in a game week.
