IKTS - Your Chance to Influence a NEW Prediction Game and Qualify for £10 of free credits.

Here's your chance to influence one of the new prediction games on

the market. The company that runs the impressive PremierLeague.com

prediction game, are working on a multi-category prediction site.

been playing, including Challenger (head to head competitions) and

QuickWins (which will allow you to win prizes based on your

predictions).

IKnowTheScore (IKTS) - http://www.iknowthescore.com - is now open

for "free" beta testing over the next 5 weeks. FISO members have a

unique opportunity to see the game and provide feedback ahead of the

official launch next year. As a player you can join one or more of

the following the prediction games:

* Premier League Football

So sign up today and help shape what looks a useful addition to the

available fantasy games by taking part in the test site. You will

qualify for £10 of free credits when the IKTS Prediction Leagues get

underway for real in next year

Football1x2 - New Simulated Game

Football1x2 is a virtual fantasy football game that simulates a

season every hour. You can play for fun(monthly prize of up to

£250) or gamble for real money. There are over 50 leagues

representing most countries around the world.

The game simulates a football season with a weekend's matches played

every 90 seconds and the season completed every hour. Although

football1x2 does reflect realistic team strengths, the championship

is seldom just a 2 or 3 team race with even the most unlikely clubs

walking away with the title.

You can either play for real and receive a complementary £10 matched

deposit or warm up by playing for fun and get 1000 fun credits

simply by opening an account, no deposit required.

David Tonkin's Monthly Premiership Review

5 sets of fixtures in December which take us up to the half way mark

of the season, the top 3 are still pulling clear and there's not

very much covering the rest. A good month for a side currently near

the bottom will have them considering a possible Euro spot, a series

of losses for any of those outside the top 3 and a possible

relegation fight looms, Fulham in 4th are 9 points off the top 3 and

9 points clear of the relegation zone, could that 4th CL spot still

be in range for even Leeds???

Chelsea (35 +19 wWwW) - Leeds (a) Bolton (h) Fulham (a) Charlton (a)

Portsmouth (h) top scorers, best defence, 5 straight wins in the

league without conceding since the Arsenal loss and now top of the

league, can they be knocked off it? For that matter which of these

are likely to score against them, if any? A couple of interesting

derbies either side of Xmas dinner. No dominant striker for FF

purposes but the rest of the line up has been much more stable and

producing points throughout the month.

Arsenal (34 +18 wWwD) - Leicester (a) Blackburn (h) Bolton (a)

Wolves (h) Southampton (a) the longest unbeaten run ever to start

the Premiership and they're second! Creating plenty of chances and

surely they won't face another Van Der Sar like display again. None

of these look likely to cause any major problems, will 5 wins return

them to the top or do they have to win to keep in the race?

Man U (31 +16 WwWl) - Villa (h) Man C (h) Spurs (a) Everton (h)

Middlesbrough (a) all very winnable fixtures which they'll probably

need to win just to stay in touch with the top two and maybe

recapture a little ground on one or both of them.

Fulham (22 +6 LlWd) - Bolton (h) Leeds (a) Chelsea (h) Southampton

(h) Villa (a) top of the rest, at the moment anyway. Home and away

form is a mirror image with 3W 2D 2L 12F 9A in both lists, points

look possible from all of these but then 2 or 3 losses wouldn't be a

great surprise either, will they still be in that CL spot at the

turn of the year?

Charlton (22 +3 wWdL) - Southampton (a) Middlesbrough (a) Newcastle

(h) Chelsea (h) Spurs (a) looking at these fixtures you might expect

them to struggle in most of them but this is Charlton who have

proven themselves very capable of putting together a string of good

results against anyone.

Liverpool (21 +6 wLdW) - Newcastle (a) Southampton (h) Wolves (a)

Bolton (h) Man C (a) Owen has yet another injury which can't help

(certainly isn't helping me!) in the push for 4th, their main rivals

(according to the bookies anyway) for that spot is their first

fixture of the month, a decisive result will give one a little

advantage. The other 4 matches are should win but will they be?

Newcastle (20 +1 DlWd) - Liverpool (h) Spurs (h) Charlton (a)

Leicester (a) Blackburn (h) a reasonable looking set that most will

expect 4 or 5 wins from, Shearer seems to be the only one capable of

scoring for them these days, 20 for him by the end of the month

perhaps?

Birmingham (20 -2 LdLl) - Blackburn (h) Leicester (a) Middlesbrough

(h) Man C (h) Everton (a) a couple of wheels fell off in November, 8

of their 14 conceded for the season hit the back of their net in

those 4 games, can Bruce get them back into clean sheet mode to halt

the slide? A month ago you'd have all these down for 0/1-0, but

now???

Man C (18 +3 wLlL) - Everton (a) Man U (a) Leeds (h) Birmingham (a)

Liverpool (h) 7 conceded without reply in the final 3 matches in

November, certainly not the expected form from a Keegan side

although if you look back at last month's preview I did predict them

to be struggling to score goals. I don't know whether it's the

players, the formation or the tactics but if something doesn't

change soon they will be spending the rest of the season in the

bottom 6.

Middlesbrough (18 -3 WwDw) - Portsmouth (h) Charlton (h) Birmingham

(a) Blackburn (a) Man U (h) a good month scoring 5 without reply,

the new Birmingham perhaps? Good chances for more clean sheets here

and maybe able to nick a goal here and there to win several of

these.

Bolton (18 -6 wDwW) - Fulham (a) Chelsea (a) Arsenal (h) Liverpool

(a) Leicester (h) similar to Middlesbrough 5-0 for the month but it

wouldn't be a surprise if the lost a few of these 5-0 with 4 of the

top 6 to face and 3 of them away from home at that.

Southampton (17 +1 LdLl) - Charlton (h) Liverpool (a) Portsmouth (h)

Fulham (a) Arsenal (h) 0-4 for the month, no goals from Beattie

means no goals from anyone else, can he score a few to get them some

points or will the slide continue? Another with 4 of the current top

6 to play during the month, can they upset some of them?

Leicester (15 0 WwDw) - Arsenal (h) Birmingham (h) Everton (a)

Newcastle (h) Bolton (a) 8-1 during November's good sequence,

clearly something's been learnt from the 2nd half collapse against

Wolves at the end of October. They really could get something from

all of these games.

Portsmouth (15 -3 lWlL) - Middlesbrough (a) Everton (h) Southampton

(a) Spurs (h) Chelsea (a) continuing to slip down the table and this

month doesn't look to be one likely to halt the slide.

Spurs (15 -5 LlWl) - Wolves (h) Newcastle (a) Man U (h) Portsmouth

(a) Charlton (h) missing Kanoute badly along with a midfield and a

defence, looking likely to stay in the bottom 6 for a while yet.

Blackburn (14 -5 lWlW) - Birmingham (a) Arsenal (a) Villa (h)

Middlesbrough (h) Newcastle (a) a couple of home victories to give

them some cheer but not convincing with them, some decent players

there but certainly not enough to make a half decent team. No draws

since August, an away draw or two here could signal a team coming

together but continuing the sequence of losses looks more likely.

Aston Villa (14 -6 dLlW) - Man U (a) Wolves (h) Blackburn (a) Leeds

(a) Fulham (h) the home form is as good as any outside of the top 3,

away form is dismal, a couple of decent looking opportunities to

improve it, all they need to do is score a few goals and as it's

coming up to Xmas perhaps Angel will shine.

Everton (13 -4 LlWl) - Man C (h) Portsmouth (a) Leicester (h) Man U

(a) Birmingham (h) another with reasonable home form and dire away,

the early fixtures gives them a chance against other currently poor

sides, if they can't turn it around then they look to be in real

trouble as January has them facing 4 of the current top 6, the 4/1

for them to go down at the moment could be good value.

Wolves (11 -18 lDlD) - Spurs (a) Villa (a) Liverpool (h) Arsenal (a)

Leeds (h) we all knew they were going to struggle and were first on

everybody's list for relegation but even though the first 2 matches

are away they are against out of form sides, could they possibly

battle their way out of the bottom 3 for Xmas?

Leeds (11 -21 LlLw) - Chelsea (h) Fulham (h) Man C (a) Villa (h)

Wolves (a) they've won a game, further mutterings of an Arab

takeover so it's all going to get better from now? No, I don't think

so either but 3 home fixtures and they have two poor sides to visit,

there are certainly plenty of points opportunities here if Gray can

find the right tactics.

New Fantasy Football Games

We've recently received information from the webmasters of the

following games:

Armchair Footy - http://www.armchairfooty.com

Armchair Footy is a 'Real Life Performance' fantasy football game.

It differs from most on the market in that it offers you the chance

to manage players from all four English divisions - Premiership

through Division 3.

Managers compete for an Overall prize and also for nine monthly

prizes. All teams are entered into two Cup competitions, one that

parallels the F.A. Cup and another knockout competition, pitting

managers against each other on a week-to-week basis.

They provide 'mini-leagues', offer free transfers

throughout the season and provide monthly quizzes that can earn you

extra transfers.

SPL Fantasy Football - http://www.higgsitsolutions.co.uk/ff/

A free to enter Scottish Premier League Fantasy Football game has

been brought to our attention.

This is a free to enter online fantasy football game for the SPL and

includes latest news, fixtures and current league table. Choose 11

enter as many teams as you want, but only 1 per email address.

Additional Player's will be updated every other month. There is a

Mini-league facility.

Fantasy FC - http://www.fantasyfc.com

Fantasy FC is a free Premiership Football fantasy game in a

community orientated environment. It's a non-commercial website,

made by and for fantasy football game's fans.

Premier League Fantasy Footy -

http://www.leaguelineup.com/premiership

This is a PBEM (Play by email) footy management game based on the

English Premiership and is split into 2 divisions; Premier League A

& B. You have to pick your line-up every week before 6pm on Friday,

if you don't pick your line-up for two weeks you are sacked and must apply

for a new team. Only one team is allowed per person. Each team will

start each season with £20,000,000 for transfer funds. Games are

played every Friday.

ESL - European Super League - http://www.geocities.com/eslsoccer/

ESL is a fantasy football league made up of 20 of the best clubs

from around Europe. The idea is based around real players who are

bought and sold just as in real life and the managers are given

£20,000,000 to start off with. They spend this how they wish but

then have to make their own money by selling players or by loaning

out players. The squads with which the teams started off with were

the actual squads as that particular team had in real life at the

time the league started. Mangers then submit their squads for

matches on Saturday and the results are done using a simulator

which takes into account the recent form of a team, quality of squad

and tactics. They are going to have a winter break in the league for

a 5-a-side cup competition which will allow managers to win money

for the actual league.
