...some conclusions:-
1. Could be calculated manually in less than a minute, these are all the top scorers in their positions.
2. Despite the increase in transfers from 20-30, only the dual winners managed to beat the OST score; a feat achieved by Rui, with 10 fewer transfers, last season.
3. Illustrates that budgeting was not a factor this season; partly because of 'less restrictive' player prices and partly because the top-scoring midfielders were all from the medium to low price range.
4. No consistently heavy scorers - a la Henry, Lampard or Ronaldo. Only Tevez topped 200 and the second highest scorer was a keeper

- Joe Hart. That's probably a reflection of the high number of injuries suffered by the leading players and, perhaps, the lack of star quality in this season's Premiership that's been debated on other Threads.
5. Most probably featured in a fair few starting teams (Hart, Ivanovic, Baines, Hangeland, Malouda, Tevez & Drogba...maybe even Berbatov and Nani) - but Adams, in particular, and Huth were big surprises. Adams, rather than VdV, Silva or YYT, was the optimum midfield pick from 3 weeks out - but who would have taken a punt on his goals at WHL and OT?
..what does the team think?
