The 2011 Yorkshire post game is up and running although when I registered I could not yet pick a team.
No doubt they will be updating things as they go along

http://fantasygolf.yorkshirepost.co.uk/

Same format as the Scotsman again

Just entered a team, is this still a different game from the Yorkshire Evening Post game?

Yes, Different paper but there is no sign of the Evening post even doing one this year so it looks like just the Scotsman and Yorkshire post.

Major difference between this and The Scotsman game is that it is up to five teams per entrant here as opposed to strictly one in The Scotsman.

5 teams per email address . . . . . .

. . . . . If you were really serious

Still no sign of prizes :(

Re. the number of entrants, extract from T & C's:

5.2 All users can play the Game for FREE. You may only register upto 5 free teams per entrant. Anybody believed to have entered more than 5 teams will be disqualified and will not be eligible to win prizes. The Promoter may use their discretion to identify registrants who have entered more than 1 team under different names, email addresses and identities. The Promoter's decision is final and neither the Company or Promoter will enter into any discussion about teams that are disqualified.

So we can enter 5 teams each, but probably not wise to try any more!

I imagine they are just trying to boost numbers - so that it looks like more people are playing the game than really are - think they had very few entries last year - i.e. of the order of 1k, but can't remember exactly.

Wondering what everyone was going on about - 5 teams. Only did one - so best get the others picked for those prizes that we never claim. May be better off sticking with one as it is - focuses the mind (As if)!

Like I said earlier, I live about 10 minutes drive from the course so anyone who wins and does not want to claim can always donate to my 11yr old who is just taking up golf and showing good promise.

I'm putting my two teams in 28th and 60-something at the mo'.

I also live less than 10 minutes from the club and my kids are members. It's not a bad course and has just been bought by new owners who are investing quite large sums to upgrade the club.

Btw rubikqube the membership fees for kids are an absolute bargain at £150 (no joining fee) with full playing rights.

If any of the local Leeds people have a Scotsman Team, I have set up the following mini league

Name: Celtic Loiners
Password: FISOLeeds

Two in there at the moment and I would like something between 5 and 10 as a maximum
