Annual Full Membership to the Leeds Golf Centre. Apparently it's a really nice set-up/course according to one of my friends who is a member at a Leeds course nearby. Worth £859 now according to their website.

You should be able to get someone to buy it (although are you sure that the T&Cs allow for a prize to be transferred?)
It's a nice, friendly club (my children are all members and I have played it regularly). On the other hand I don't think it's worth anywhere near £859 at the moment (in terms of pricing I would have thought that £500 was still on the expensive side). There are a huge number of much higher quality clubs within 3 miles where you can become a member for around that or less eg Sand Moor, Moor Allerton, Headingley, Leeds (Cobble Hall) and Scarcroft.
There are even good pay and play options (Roundhay, The Village). I am a member at a club just up the road which charges around the same price and is a different league in terms of quality.
It's also probably worth pointing out that this year they are undertaking fairly significant changes to the course and therefore I expect that the course/play will be disrupted (although they will have to manage this carefully to ensure that there aren't grumblings from existing members). These changes are designed to bring the course up to a higher standard and to try to attract more members. At the moment it is still a little bit on the easy side and there are too many holes that are a drive and a short iron. They are introducing more water and redesigning all but 3 or 4 holes.
Having said all of that they have invested a lot of money in the course and facilities over the last year and the Par 3 course is nice. When all the work is done it will be a very different course.
