The "overs" (25 is over, jees) is always a difficult group. Never seems to be v good really. Honestly think I (age 37 btw) can sing better than most of the ones they put through to boot camp!!

Glad Samantha "reinstated" for the joke that was Goldie!

I think i'd have given Terry a go in the over's. A complete joke by Louis to put Goldie through. The man has no shame. Her husband was right to make her withdraw as she would have been ripped to pieces by the press and the public (that said, Jedward took a nasty beating, and they've made a few quid along the way). It makes a total mockery of the competition when you think Kitty will be at the live shows, but Jade won't. Honestly, it's embarrassing to watch sometimes, but it gets people (like me  ) talking, and i noticed a lot of Facebook statuses were changing to something about x factor last night!

Just to prove a point to some friends who said "go on then", recorded this last Monday (never done anything like it but fancied giving it a go)......Sounds better on headphones or proper speakers (not laptop)!

Bear in mind I'm an accountant and realise I won't be giving up my day job!! ha ha!

Nice voice. Most of tonight's show was substandard dross. I guess you only know the scope of an artist when they release their own records. No acts barring girls aloud and even will young seemed credible once released on the marketplace yet they were still mainstream pop so that isn't saying much about it being a showcase of new talent. Janet put in a good performance but if she releases an album of cover ballads as most ex x factors do who needs it if you can just buy the originals or even if they're new who needs rehashed tedious songs lacking anything more than repetitive cliches. The show is merely that 'a show' so I guess we shouldn't have false expectations of what we can get from it.

'The Christmas single to be released by the X Factor contestants has been revealed! The final 16 will release a cover of Rose Royce’s “Wishing On A Star”, with proceeds to be donated to ACT & Children’s Hospices UK.'
Just found this:

Looks like smells like teen spirit is this year's protest song according to facebook.
