don't know if it's just me, but it has always said tfr window1 would close at 7:30pm on 25/06/10 when tfr window2 would simultaneously open...and you get your next 12 tfrs...

just went on now to burn off my remaining tfrs ready for the last 16 and i've already got my new 12. checked the rules bit again and they've changed it to 3:00pm...

reckon this is bang out of order.

anybody else got the same prob?

They haven't changed it.

A transfer amnesty will be in place up until 7:30pm on Friday 11th June 2010. Any transfers made before this time will not be debited from that Team's transfer allowance. At 7:30pm on Friday 11th June 2010 the first aloocation of 12 transfers will become available. The first transfer window is open from 7:30pm on Friday 11th June 2010 to 3:00pm on Friday 25th June 2010. The second transfer window is open from 3:00pm on Friday 25th June 2010 to 7:30pm on Sunday 11th July 2010. Each team has 12 transfers to be used in each of the transfer windows, totalling 24 transfers per team.

I posted the T&C's well before the competition started.

The terms and conditions may not have changed but I agree with Nick

In the 'how to play' section , I am sure last night it said the deadline was 7.30 tonight - I have just logged on to find I have lost transfers which I was saving to transfer out players that I was carrying who played today eg Liedson , David Silva

Not good

Andy

That may well be the case then, got to admit, didn't look in the "how to play" section.
Drop them an email with the changes you were going to do, see what their response is.

I just mentioned this on the other star thread. First thoughts are that the original rules had 25th at 3pm down as a typo, but they've stuck with it rather than admit an error. Also couldn't download league tables today.

Thinking again about the structure of this game - it's perhaps not an error, just an either/or. If transfers can only be made before first game of the day, and they split game in two, either the split was before today's games: or tomorrows, in which case one wouldn't get the 12 new transfer options until after the 3pm cut-off for the first second round matches. Whatevs, i've missed out on a couple of transfers, as have most others i'd guess - not the best game design ever. Other companies (ofl, and even silentmanager) have the cut-off point at midnight, which has a certain logic.

can't say i was happy but...

1 the 'how to play' button on your home page is all i looked at during the game.

2 that button, on points/tfrs said 7:30pm as the cut-off, so i decided to run my teams accordingly.

3 i didn't read the full t/cs (which elkmaster put online).

4 i read the t/cs small print when i think there's something potentially tricky...i am surprised that the tfr window has turned out to be a prob!!!!

5 i reckon the star have a really good game so i'm sad that this has knackered my chances.

6 i had a very prompt and courteous reply from the star when i contacted them about all this a few hours ago...

7 so no probs. i'll put this down to experience... :)

Just received this ..

'Dear Andy,

We apologise that the transfers rules were not clearly displayed on the website, but the deadline was 3pm and therefore unfortunately we are unable to re-instate any transfers not used before this deadline.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused and we hope you are enjoying the game.

Regards,
Helpdesk'
