Well 7 days into the 28 days (what postage system takes 28 days??)

No cheque yet......

28 Days and counting....

Joining the queue winning a mere £100 in the monthly.Won the same with the Star on Monday and received it Saturday plus of course the £5 weekly ytm one gets paid directly to their online payment system.The Sun is a different scenario so can understand it in a way as at the moment they are dealing with the aftermath of a change in marketing tactics so arguing isn't going to change that fact though I can understand the inevitable peevedoffness.Perhaps a concentrated study on potential problems preseason may avert these kind of things.

No Cheque here either, Only Cheque I have is for a £5er that I won with the Wrigleys Gum Packs received within a week.

I hope they send cheques by recorded delivery....?

Prior to the disbursement of any winnings, we reserve the right to require you to provide information or documentation, deemed, in the opinion of The Promoter, fit to verify your identify and eligibility to win. You may be required to sign and agree to an affidavit of eligibility and public release. Failure to co-operate with such enquiries may result in any winnings being forfeited.

All prizes will be paid via cheque. In order for a prize to be paid, the winner will be required to supply us with or confirm their valid home address via the secure link on the original prize confirmation email within 30 calendar days of send; otherwise the prize may be forfeited and go into a separate prize pot to be used at the promoter’s discretion. Our Cheques probably haven't been posted yet, they will do that on day 27.

They only say they "aim to" do it within those dates, not that they will. 36 days overdue is pretty poor but now the system is sorted, hopefully it will improve. There is a discrepancy in that the email said allow 28 days for delivery but they "aim to" do it in 21.

Don't know if it's occurred to any of you (I would have thought it's bound to have). In light of recent allegations concerning "The Sun" and that dodgy geezer Murdoch.
Are you slightly concerned over the future of this competition and therefor your money?

It is alleged that "The Sun" is going to be implicated in some new computer hacking scandal. Murdoch would not deny he could close the paper down if it was found guilty of wrongdoings.

I haven't won any money yet, but I'm keeping an eye on this thread.
Perhaps they are just making sure that they are not handing money over to dodgy PI's like they allegedly did before.

No concern. They said allow 28 days and 15 have passed. If 28 days pass lets cross that bridge then. One last chance to be patient with this.

The cheques have to be verified and signed through various people and then posted which is what they'll say the delay (not being 3-5 days but 28 days) is.

When I confirmed my details it said 'your cheque is in the post' I guess that was a lie then. They won't have even posted it yet. Does it really take that long to print a cheque and post it, they could be more efficient.

I understand its up to 28 days that we have to wait, although they broke their own T&C's in contacting people weeks late which has annoyed some ppl especially Sleuth.

I would have to admit I am an impatient mutha fudger, I hate waiting.................................................

If this is the case we should get them Monday or Tuesday.

From what I was advised yesterday I think you/we can expect our cheques sometime w/c 29/11.
