You'll find it in the OP here:

Then say 'hi' at the end of the thread. 8-)

Aye, the FPL Forum's right friendly. I wasn't quite sure what the quote meant by intimidating anyway. Thanks for clearing that up.

dublin_gooner, like Flyman said, that's a good squad you've got there. If I was pressed to go for a replacement for Cech I'd choose Friedel because of the double GWs and the following fixtures. However, if there's news that Cech will miss just one GW, I'd keep him and use my sub for next GW.

all i can say, for a guy just regged today this forum has been nothing short of welcome so thanks very much guys

as for now, i completely agree and will transfer samba for baines this week then either freidel for cech next week OR bentely for cahill .
Either way leaving me with 3 BRs for the double GW

for the following (after the internationals and its injury epidemic no doubt)
it'll be auf wiedersehn ferdinand for anyone cheap enough to allow me to transfer gerrard in for either cahill/bentley

after that i'll lose clichy and bring in some else (not sure who) as i need to free up an arsenal position to bring in the mighty RVP

secret of my (limited)success: cesc as captain since day one. soon to change as one more yellow and he's suspended

nice. i worked out i'd be about 50 points better off if I'd just captained Fabregas from GW1. hopefully, he'd do well against Reading.

PS: i missed the 86 in your history. my bad

d_g: As a newcomer, you may not be aware of our 'Crack the Code' thread (see the stickies on the FPL Forum).

Here's the link to diamondplus's site where he logs the expected price changes daily:
http://crackthecode.awardspace.co.uk/

Bear in mind, it isn't perfect, but it's usually damned close!

Flyman, you forgot to mention this bit:

Remove the "&event=12" from the url. Otherwise it'll always point to your Gameweek 12 score.

Cheers :)

Aye, that's true enough for the WWW, but I was really asking about his current state of play. :)

d_g - You may wish to edit the url in your profile as fkc suggests above. Then it will always point us to your current squad, not your GW12 line up. 8-)

Busy bees in the wee small hours. Nice to have you here dublin_gooner - great season you are having! The FPL forum is a friendly place indeed - just tread carefully in the other forums that aren't linked with FPL.

Tempted to leave Cech aside for Gordon but Sunderland haven't kept a clean sheet since playing spurs many games ago at the start of the season lol!

If I was 100% sure Almunia would play all the next 5-6 games I'd grab him I think....

Can anyone envisage Almunia being dropped now? He seems to have won the No.1 slot to me.
Has anyone heard any 'rumours from the camp'?

i personally think that Lehmann has played his last game for arsenal, unless almunia get injured between now and January he will be first choice and wenger will buy in january!. although as will most things i could be wrong :D

Question is then.

Do I transfer out Almunia & also get in Gerrard for Elano this w/end?!?!

4 point hit but Gerrard against Fulham & imo in excellent form.

In my mind, Almunia holding his spot for the Man U game was a pretty good indicator.

We're only at GW12!
Go on, tell us who scored big in GW13! :P

That's right now, dublin_gooner.
Next week it'll link to GW13, then 14, 15, etc.
All's well. 8-)

That, my friend, is one of life's Great Unponderables!

I'm afraid it's decisions like that which make winners and losers. I've no idea!
Why not look at some bookies' sites and see what odds they are offering on scores and scorers? Those guys spend time & money trying to work out questions such as yours which, if we are honest, we can only guess at. :)

Just a quick post to welcome another Irish entrant into FISO. It's a shame you didn't join up a few weeks ago as you'd do our All Ireland team here a great bit of good. Oh well.

And boy do you need it!

I would like to know how those that posted in the wee small hours this morning are back up and posting sensible posts not long after? Is Red Bull involved?

Talking of Red Bull, one of the articulated lorries from the Red Bull Formula 1 team nearly took me out at a roundabout yesterday... I was nearly no more!

Didn't you know, J. ..... 'Red Bull gives you wings!'.

Sorry to hear, mate. Send Head Office a letter of complaint. They may send you a crate of the stuff as a goodwill gesture.
Never tried it myself. Sounds too much like speed to me.

The driver looked suspiciously like Alonso! I won't sent a letter, because I may have been in the wrong.... it's a blind roundabout... honest officer!

Actually, talking of energy drinks and the like, those Pro-Biotic yogurts and also Lucozade Sport drinks (blue and red) make me go all wobbly and funny. I get weak kneed and I end up with a terrible headache. That happen to anybody else? Or am I just being a wuss! In fact, the friendly bacteria drinks turned me into a virtual zombie and I needed to sleep all the time!

thanks for the welcome shaw, this seems to be a great site, and even friendlier that the FPL forum, and it looks like there is quite a bit more nous about the game here as well :D

another tough question:

leadbitter in the tyne-wear derby or santa cruz against a possible shut out in the manu game????

It's actually Rob.

Regarding the Leabitter or Santa choice, it's a tricky call. I'd tend to go with Santa. Blackburn are a very good side, and from watching Utd I think they are a little bit weaker at the back than when they went on their clean sheet run. I'd say there is a good chance they will concede, and Santa has been among the goals/assists this season.

I have Santa though so maybe I'm a bit biased. Heck, you are miles ahead of me so let me know which you decide on!

Yes!

Or, more helpfully, Blackburn are more than capable of scoring against Utd. In fact, I will say they will. How's that for confidence?

as for being in front of anyone, thats no indication of confidence as i have had a TERRIBLE october and november hasn't started of too brightly. i didn't see a lot of things coming (for instance rafa has messed me up big time this year to the point that i will NEVER buy any liverpool player outside of reina/gerrard no matter what sort of form they are in)

right so will go for santa cruz and stick with the 3-4-3 of :

gordon

ferdinand, gallas, clichy

cesc (c) , lamps, elano, cahill

benji, santa, jones

now can anyone tell me whether thats gonna do the trick for 60+???

keeping cesc as captain til he gets suspended, everyone i know who has swapped him out of captaincy has regretted it!!!!!!!!!!11
