This is my confirmed wildcard team so far. I'm quite happy with it all in all except for Crouch up front. I knew i was wildcarding this week so i brought in crouch as a replacement for yakubu on the premise that no matter how well he did he would be going out this week in the wildcard (thought stoke at home to WBA would provide crouch a good chance at some points :| )

Basically I have 8.9m to spend on a new striker, preferably today as theres a chance that crouch may be dropping tonight.

Has anyone here got any ideas/tips on this team and my crouch-saga?

Cheers in advance.

Dzeko (8.0) for now anyway, as good fixtures and Balotelli probably banned for three or more fixtures. His price should rise in the short term anyway, so with almost guaranteed starts you can't lose

Great shout! With Balotelli's ban as well this could be a top call. Thanks mate.

Actually i just thought about it and do i really want to have such a high dependancy on two clubs? city and tottenham would dominate my team to such an extent that over half of my team (2 defenders 2 midfielder and 2 strikers) come from them. Dzeko would be a good pick but dont know if hes best for my particular team.

Take a punt on Bellamy. Will give you Liverpool coverage, he's on fire, cheaper than Dzeko and decent fixtures...

Been having another look. Here are others im considering:

Welbeck. Started last 2 games but does that mean hes a guaranteed starter for the next few games? Plus he's playing second fiddle to Rooney which i dont normally enjoy going for. However i would like some united coverage.

Bellamy. Good for a goal, but his crocked knee puts me off.

Dzeko. As explained in earlier post, dont like the idea of such dependency on only two clubs.

Agbonlahor. With Bent getting some goals chance of assists as well as goals for himself?

Sturridge. Viable shout.

Zamora. Great in his last game but will Fulham's form continue? Been unimpressed with them so far this season.

Flethcer. Wolves' go to man, can i rely on wolves for goals?

Hmmmmm decisions. At the moment i'm toying towards Welbeck. Anyone care to voice their opinion?
