So with the news that Jamie Ward has left Chesterfield for a mere £300k to Sheff United,
who to replace him with?

I have Boulding and Lester in a 4-3-3, so is Holt the obvious answer?

25% of managers have Ward

Holty is a bit of a card magnet, that's true.

He's the best player in our side by a country mile and too good for league 2 really. Therefore he gets heavily marked and gets frustrated 'Rooneylike' with the rest of our team. This means he tends to drift back into midfield areas to try and get the ball more than he should.

The refs tend not to like him either, which is a bit of a mystery. Probably just trying to make names for themselves, put it on their CV

He takes a good pen though (unlike his televised miss  ) and could be a point scoring revelation is he was given a decent service and a player to play off. I think if we got another decent forward and a creative midfielder in the window then he may be well worth a go. Trouble is they're costly and largely non-existent at this level. We broke the bank to get Holt and I can't see them doing it again as the purse strings have always been very tight as a club

Holt did not let me down when I had him.

What's happened to Benson of Dag? I death touched. Put him in my team and he stopped playing.

Wife had a baby was why he missed the game last Saturday (and the 2nd in midweek I can only guess was for the same reason)
