The guy is useless...................

I can't belive he is a CK, honestly i thought even though he was a new boy that he woudl be good for 250 points this season but i don't think he'll break 190!!!!

Would you swap him for Drogba in the Jan window?

And don't tell me it's too early to think about it because i already have!!!!!!!!!1

That's Drogba picked up his first injury and will be out for a couple of games so lets just see how Sheva gets on up front without him. I personally think that the two of them don't compliment each other, but Jose is in the throes of a dilemma, he can't drop Drogba because of his scoring rate, and he can't leave out Sheva after paying Zillions for him. I myself have no doubt that Sheva is the better Striker and I hope that he proves this in the next few games when Didier is resting.

Conclusion: I would certainly keep Sheva in my team as I still beleive that cream will always rise to the top. Then again when you take into account that Doyle of Reading has 50 points and Sheva only 37 it does make you wonder.?

Having seen Sheva here's in Italy for many years i can't believe his form is so poor. He's a far better player than he looks at the moment...i've keeped him so far but many players need one whole season to adapt to the Premiership.
The same for Berbatov, i player i admire but that while can't stop scoring in Europe hes' find it difficult in the Prem.
There's more than a month before the next TW and as we say here "many will born and many will die"... The sense is "anything can happen"

We can talk about it all we want, but until january you cant do anything about it.

Just one of the reason TFF is so much better!

Shev could go on a scoring spree through december - then you wont want him out will you??

I agree, he is not fulfilling his potential at all, and that he is a quality striker - that will come good.

I dont have him, but i did reccomend people keep him in the october window, unless they needed cash freeing up.

Only in Jan/feb will i make a new assesment based on his performance for the whole period.

I too fell into the Eboue trap, he came back much quicker than i was lead to believe.

Having said that, i brought in Chimbonda (doubling up my Spurs defence) and have done quite nicely from it. 8-)

The bloke could go on a scoring spree and i'd still have him out.... he needs hatricks for MOM awards, even a goal a game will not cut the mustard......... time to start looking at a cheaper alternative like Doyle who is good for another 5 - 8 goals after January and then spend the rest on a new pair of shoes???

I tend to agree. The only argument in his favour is that if he does start going on a spree (highly improbable) then it will really make a difference as most of those above you won't have him - although if you have him you probably won't be that high in the table in any event!

I can't f'n believe hes done this either. Yet another who saw the pound signs and thought I'll have some of that. Such a waste of talent, the guy knows he will defo be financially secure with the last contract (maybe) of his career, so it was all about getting the quids in. Or the roubles. the bustard's humped my DT chances too.

This was pointed out to many back in August but because it is Shevchenko it didn't count and the commandment was given exception to.

Oh how they rue their mistakes now!

I'm still hope he'll regain form so he can live on as a legend!

I did about the whole Carlos kickaball routine ------ but then i seem to remember a chamions league final or 3 and the fact that chelsea scored for fun last year with drogba and gudjohnsen to pick from......... and surley it would be like saying Ronaldinho would be a CK if he joined Hull City.................? but obviously not!

He can't be a CK, it's just not right, even if they hadn't paid £30 mil and he'd have come on a free i think he would be a waste of money..........................

Why can't we get a full game out of him. Scores the only goal so far. Then hes taken off after the usual 60 mins. He might be one of those players who score all his goals in the last 10 minutes. But we will never know.
I still believe in him......... just.
