Surely a 20 horse race is better than a one horse race. Its not as though the prize is worth winning.

What's that got to do with this little comp?

Little point guessing a league's going to come 50th, when this year 500 teams are invented that drop it to 400th+. Not much skill in that, though the leagues will still perform fairly against each other.

Good point Spencer - I misunderstood your post. I'll dig out my dunces cap and get Mrs Striker to give it a good wash as I'm sure to need it several times this season, now that I'm back posting on fiso.

EggCuppers, if it's any consolation, there are more than 2,000 worse-performing groups right now.

Total number of super leagues, according to chairman's report from the Telegraph today, is 8,357.

Any idea how many there are now?

Like many I didn't enter mine until late September to have a better crack at the (more valuable) Chairman's Prize. My 20 teams only includes 3 that I am still actively managing (4th in league is in 147663rd) but still my league is 6691st!

A prize to anybody doing worse......

I'll have a look after tonight's last game of the gw. I've been rather put off by the ridiculous way the telegraph have ruined this competition this year.

Even if you ignore the Mr TFF entries the comp is seriously watered down this year as most serious multi-entrants won't be entering a single league for their teams or joining forces with fellow 'pros' to make a mega-league. Instead, they'll all be splitting their teams into blocks of 20 with 1 good team in each to have numerous attempts at a £5k prize rather than one shot at a £1k prize versus the might of FISO and co.

TFF need to get their thinking caps on regarding this before next summer.

If anybody cares, Mr SCSS Carson's teams (who is he?) are all in his own name.

675, 673, 651, 637 & 622 = 651.6

He also does NOT feature in the Chairman's League Top 100 so is either less than 20 strong or (mistakenly?) chairing it with a team on 590 or less.

Not bad going by Andy as I would guess that league only has 20 teams and he spread his best teams to chair various leagues to target the more lucrative Chairman's prize (i'm assuming he has 40+ teams!)

FS Record: 11/12 - Need to do better next season!! 10/11 - TFF Weekly and TFF Divisional winner + some other SL prizes. Previously - A few national wins and some other podiums.
Very well done to the FISO league and the 25ers. Also to the Jesters tenner league and the two foot challenge who finished above my 007 League as well. But in our first season we did ok with a top 100 placing of 82 :) , which with all the TFF teams this year  aint a bad result.
Anyone know how Giblins league finished
