As you requested Dixie,

My personal favourite would be Aliens, other suggestions (not all trilogies) include........

Lord of the Rings
The Matrix
Star Wars
Harry Potter
Die Hard
Lethal Weapon
Rocky
Rambo
Pirates of the Carribean
Jurassic Park

Any other personal favourites.........................??

Impossible to top lord of the rings for me as good as Alien is.

Naked Gun trilogy would probably make #3/4 (Star Wars a good yell) in my list ahead of any of the others you named.

I had a great time filming Star Wars. Has to be that for sheer magic and capturing the imagination of an entire generation.

I'd go with...

LOTR - Unbeatable imho
The Godfather - Pure class
Back To The Future - Never get bored of watching them although the last one was a bit ropey.

Think they were all on TV lately, one day after another.

Your right, can never get bored of them.

You are 6'4 or something right? Are you the stormtrooper who bangs his head on the door in star wars? (Its when they open the door C3P0 and R2D2 are hiding behind if you havent seen it, you even hear him say ooof or words to that effect).

Maybe the question should be, AFTER LOTR, which is the best/your favourite trilogy??

LOTR is head and shoulders above anything else in my eyes, but Star Wars is emminently watchable every time, as is Back to the Future like Dixie said.

Not sure if you would count them, but For a few dollars more, a fistfull of dollars and the good bad and ugly are up there too as are most that have been mentioned to be honest

LOTR isn't even a patch on the books its based on!

Star Wars by a mile despite the sullying of the name of the original trilogy by the later crap.

Star Wars - without question - could never get into LOTR - went to watch the first one in the cinema's and what a waste of 3 hours !! although watch thereturn of the king last night and after having things explained to me throughout the film - thought it was ok - will make a point to watch the first two when I have the 10 hours or whatever time free !!!

Do a search on that question. Its been posted almost as many times as the little animation of the Stormtrooper hip thrusting in a car park

That wasnt me, my assignment was to look after the 19 year old Daughter of the Death Star Commander. :P  Mmmmmmm nice.

Actually, The Godfather wins by a light year, even though the third one was crap. The first two are among the best films ever made.
