Not keen on ER, never seen Prison Break or Shameless, but like Desperate Housewives, I tend to like any show which can continually throw up surprises, like that and Lost tends to do.

Like a few have also never seen an episode of 24, despite many rave reviews from my youngest, will have to borrow his DVD's eventually, unless it appears on some channel from day one (as it is sure to do at some point). I don't like joining in half way through either. May check out the other two at some point too.

Season 6 of CSI has been airing on Living for the last few weeks, tonight 10pm, not sure if that is the first time it has been aired over here or not.

Jericho on Hallmark was fairly decent last week, so have started watching that. Anyone else catch that last week ?

Anyone know if Bones finished just before Christmas?, it didn’t seem like a finale, but the new series does not seem to be on anymore.

Caught it tonight and it was the exact offspring of 24 and Killer Wave.

Scary.

Good choice of progs there.

24 I love but have only seen the first two series so am reluctant to watch current one until I've seen all the others in sequence. I keep dropping DVD-type hints to Mrs Whiz, and it's my birthday soon, so fingers crossed

Desperate Housewives. I've written about this on the forum before, because I thought the Twin Peaks-type surrealness of the first season was just brilliant. Unfortunately it's turned from being a satire of a soap opera to an actual soap opera now, repetitive and cliched. The episode this week was the worst ever, not a laugh in the whole show and it used to be so funny. I'll stick with it for a bit longer because I've grown fond of the characters, but basically I think it's burnt itself out.

ER Again, I watched this from the very beginning, which must have been at least 10 years ago. But I went off it after Sherry Springfield (Susan, who I fancied rotten) left, and went off it even more when she came back after having put loads of weight on! So while the first two or three series were excellent, the rest I haven't bothered with.

Prison Break Never seen it

Shameless Not my cup of tea.

I only watch about three TV programmes a week (apart from football), and now that Planet Earth has finished that will reduce to two or even one if I stop watching Desperate :(

I've never watched 24 or Prison Break. The former was on at an awkward time for me when it started and I just decided that I was watching too much tv to commit myself to Prison Break. That's a shame because it looks excellent from the trailers. One of my mates has it all on dvd (y'know the type: he's downloaded episodes that haven't even been made yet coz he's a smartarse) so I might get them off him.

Desperate Housewives was tedious from the start. Now it's tedious and repetitive.

Shameless may well have jumped the shark. Originator Paul Abbot has left the show and the first two episodes of the current series were unfunny and incoherent. Will continue to watch it in the hope that it gets better. ER also appears to have jumped the shark. Last series wasn't up to much and this season hasn't started well either. However, with ER it's all about the new interns so I'll keep viewing.

Looking forward to the new seasons of CSI on Five and still watching Law & Order: Criminal Intent although that's weaker than it used to be.

Oh come on Murf, 24 may be many things but it ain't boring. I can't sleep for an hour or so after the end of an episode because I'm buzzing; it's like legalised amphetamimes!

Agree with you on DH and ER - fine for the girlfriend to watch while you're doing more important things on FISO. Shameless started well but I lost interest after the first season. I realised I didn't really like any of the characters. PB is OK and I watch the odd one here and there.

I actually thought Series 3 was a bit poorer than the others and only watched it out of 'loyalty'. Had Abbout already left by this point?

I have actually been enjoying the 4th series hailing it as returning to its former glory.

I have been blissfully unaware PA had gone... maybe thats tainted your opinion?

To be honest I've never seen it as it doesn't sound my cup of tea. Some of the things I've heard about plotlines (in later series?) make me wonder if I could suspend disbelief .....
