I like watching the odd movie, but to be honest I've not got much time for them, being more of a sports fan. My mate in work's just asked me if there's any good comedies out that I'd recommend. Now I quite like that wee guy who was in Meet The Parents, Ben Stiller is it?

I was going to recommend a film to my mate that he was in, but can't for the life of me remember what it was called. It was out a couple of years ago and it was a madcap film about different teams trying to hit each other with balls. If you got hit you were out, so the whole film was basically about this team trying to win a tournament by trying to dodge or evade these balls as they got hurtled at them. It was quite a big winner at the box office I recall, don't know why I've had a memory blank. :? I'm sure someone will answer this question easily though, so cheers in advance. :D

I think it's called Zoolander. It's got Owen Wilson in it too. If I remember correctly they are both trying to dodge balls that are being thrown at them in that film so I'm pretty sure that's the one.

Love Zoolander, but that is not this film. Zoolander is set in the world of male models.

The film you are after is aptly named Dodgeball, not quite as good as Zoolander, but it is calss. The funniest thing is that it is an actual spor, have seen it on cable and it is even funnier in real life, the literally had teams dressed up in jockey/sume outfits

If you're thinking of the dodging balls scene, I think that's from 'There's something about Mary'.

I concur that the Ben Stiller film about dodging balls, was indeed called 'Dodgeball', and pretty good it is.
I've been trying to remember what that film is with Johnny Depp, about a weird kid called Edward who has scissors for hands. Anyone know what it's called?

I think that was 'Ed the Duck' which won a 'Best Make-Up' Oscar for the work on Depp's central character.
