My wifes a piano teacher and classical pianist, I'll ask her to listen to it in the morning and if she doesn't come up with an answer I'll break her fingers. :D

Shazam could not place it.
Most likely it is a melody the ad agency had created, it saves on paying for copyright.

It's clubbed to death by Rob Dougan - given a remix. They're always playing it somewhere.

I don't think it's that.
I think it's a classical composer and could be Handel. I don't know but I like it.

Mrs Pa couldn't guess it either, but in her opinion it sounds very much like part of a piano concerto by either Handel or Beethoven given a bit of a revamp.

Clubbed to Death (Kurayamino variation)"
The classic featuring big beats and orchestral themes. Used in The Matrix "Woman in the Red Dress" scene. The strings at the beginning of the "Kurayamino Variation" mix are adapted from Enigma Variations, a popular piece by British composer Edward Elgar. The opening string figure of the Jupiter movement from Gustav Holst's The Planets is also sampled throughout this song. Both these examples demonstrate a strong 20th century classical influence.

That's a quote from the Rob Dougan wiki page.
