You 'highly doubt' that that team with a clean sheet could have come close to winning the £1000. Especially as it stands that is a crazy statement. Only Leon Best has scored a double and who the hell would pick him? The only stand out player at the moment (excluding Dzeko) would be Howard.

To rule a team like that out as things stand would be nuts. It didn't get a clean sheet anyway so screw it. But I will see how it would have done had it got the clean sheet points and see if you are right. Although if there is a double in the remaining matches then yes that team would have to be ruled out. But currently only Dzeko and Best and Howard have stood out this weeked.......

so has anyone got full clean sheets with Howard in goal, Best and Dzeko up front with Dzeko starred as well as other goal scorers? I very much doubt it......

7 TEAMS HAD A CLEAN SHEET WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE fOOTY

must be loads of teams with Dzeko and Rooney in with either starred giving you 94 points alone if starred Dzeko.

i got two teams with 5 clean sheets defenders

eth, pennant, sess and lampard in one
eth ,pennant, nani and young in the other

with jones upfront and rooney starred in one
with jones upfront, suarez and rooney starred in other

and i doubt it will get top 100

Have 4 teams with rooney starred that include dzeko, but this one I hope gives me a top 100.

Begovic CS
Riise :(
Hangeland :(
Enrique
Huth CS
Walcott G
Lampard G
Nani G
Bale
Dzeko GGGG
Rooney * GGG

Shawcross CS
Downing
Bent

Just hoping enrique or downing can steal a starman from suarez and also Begovic, huth, or shawcross can get a starman. Come on ratings, im waiting :)

Also I have no idea what point your trying to make, that conversation was written before the Man United match, so Rooney has nothing to do with my point.

+ you have taken no thought to the fact that its not just defenders that get clean sheets, what about Midfielders? what about the extra 3 players, that team I listed would not only have had 6 players with defensive clean sheet points but would have had 4 Midfield players with clean sheets and you would have to say the majority of the those players would have got 7/10 or higher leaving them to get a hell of a lot of points. Use your brain next time and don't live up to your name.

This gets better and better, my theory (prior to the man u match) was that my Man City block with Suarez could have come close to winning if City had got a clean sheet. And you blasted that idea a few minutes ago.

My team would have got around 150 points if City got a clean sheet and now your saying 130 points will make the top 100.

Bit of a contradiction there Mr Sleuth.

Cheers for beaching the terms and conditions concerning abusive language, I hope you get banned for that.

For starters Man City DIDN'T get a clean sheet. :?
Secondly, even if they did you can bet the Sun would not of awarded a merit mark to all of their players let alone their defenders.
Thirdly, only two players can get MOTM in your team and your assuming its Dzeko and Suarez
Fourthly,De jong didn't play, Tour and Barry were booked along with Zabaletta.

and then your midfield point

your midfield

Toure 1 point
silva 2 point
nasri 2 point
barry 1 point

how many other teams do you think might just of contained

Ashley Young 9 points
Arteta 6 points
Lampard 5 points
Dempsey 5 points
Henderson 5 points
Adam 5 points
Walcott 5 points
Nani 5 points
Park 5 points

to smash your midfield out of the water.

I'll say it again as it SO OFFENSIVE.

Well done Sleuth......This is the only part of your post I need to reference as you have totally missed the whole point. Do you have a low IQ?......For the second time Mr Sleuth or should it be Mr Slow? the whole reasoning behind the original conversation was it being HYPOTHETICAL. Do you know what that means cos it doesn't look like it.

Why the hell are you listing names like Young and Ji Sung Park??? I have already told you that the Man United game has nothing to do with the original comments.

The current top 100 would suggest 146 would gdbr been enough. But I'm not sure the table is accurate.
