FS Record: FPL 28th 06/07; CYKI 10th 08/09; TFFO 3rd 09/10; ISO champ 06/07 & 09/10; TFF £25s 2nd and 2-foot winner 2010/11
A bit surprised that I'm back in the top 20 today, I was nearly 20 points off it I think before the weekend and scored a pretty average 75.

Mixed fortunes for my other two: ISO has just been edged out of the top 100 but hopefully Bent will fire it back in tonight; and my third team which I almost wrote off earlier in the season is now up to 120th (didn't make the top 1000 until November, and just 12 days ago was down in 270th)

Did anybody else join me in starring Fabregas ahead of Rooney?

He has a pair of 2s this week. I think there had only been about 5 matches before that where he had failed to score, assist or MOTM.

(note: 'MOTM' is a new verb like to 'medal' and to 'podium')

I can join you murf, did the same in ISO which cost me 8 points. Rooney was ridiculously good, all seems a bit foolish in hindsight but expected much better from Fab!

I will admit to starring Fab in a couple of teams after I saw the team news.

Congrats on taking back your podium position Oddsman.

Unfortunately my gradual climb at the top came to an abrupt end this weekend when a family tradgedy prevented me from setting up my flanges. A criminal offence when in p3 at this stage of the season I know - but somethings really are more important the Fantasy Football. I do still hope this one weekend doesnt cost me come the end of the season and hope I ether go on to win it or drop away completely!

Good luck all for the coming weeks.
Jon

Sorry to hear about your sad news BigJonS.

As competitive as I am at this game - it's never my intention to profit from others misfortunes.

All the best Jon & good luck for the rest of the season.

That's rough BigjonS, sorry to hear you had some sad news and like you say some things are far more important than this. Looks like you're still well up there in 4th (assume you're mr sparrow) so in with a great shout, good luck.

Nothing to talk about from tonights abysmal game, kept switching over to check the score only to see the ball getting hacked about and going nowhere near Darren Bent which was all i was bothered about. No wonder those 2 sides aren't on telly much.

...concludes with my first appearance in the Top 100 for a many a moon. Jeeps, I may have to start checking last minute team news again - well, midweek games anyway.

I can almost hear Oddsman and FrankieFrog trembling in their boots. Don't worry guys, my internet-free holiday next week should put me back in my box. :)

I noticed this morning that the top 100 now includes 17 teams from the FISO league, and no doubt many more from FISOers who have their own leagues (Oddsman and FrankieFrog and the like). At a rough count maybe 40% of the top 100 is FISO :D

I expect many managers are gonna have some interesting Drogba decisions to make in the near future, which could potentially make quite a difference on the rest of the season!
