well it's quite an achievement maintaining that amount of email accounts & dreamteam accounts and remembering to enter them all into WDT so he should keep his prizes for sheer effort :)

Adam Coles - Ban him

Only 160k entries this week compared to 204k in week 5 I think. Not sure why that would be but it is a big drop.

1st question is has anybody ? An email from the doobie brothers buys you nothing :!:

Okay, I'll rephrase - has he "won" anything else? Ashers says no so any disqualification will only affect WDT7 positions.

Probably been many more winners in previous weeks that have more than one free team entered but it's spotting them, Adam Coles only stands out as he had 3 in the top 100 :!: Would like to think that at least the 1st prize winners are checked for this though.

No need to shout, I'm very aware that nobody has been paid out as yet and to some extent that's a good thing, the more of these multi-free-entrants that can be identified as time passes then the more that can be disqualified allowing genuine entrants to be promoted into the prize winning positions.

so eff me, it appears that adam coles has created 96 ( assuming he already had one ) email accounts just to enter free teams

surely entering wdt must take all week, enter one team - log into sun site, find email address and password....enter team

next team log out, log back in, etc etc

cheating freeloading caaaant

hope he doesn't get a penny

with a bit of luck that'll put harv and bex back into the top 100

adam coles = caaaant of the week

what's goin on is Adam Coles has logged in and changed his name on some of his winning accoutns to try and avoid detection.

It's easy to do. You can't change your team name though so it's also easy to spot when someone does it

No wonder they are having trouble chasing winners if people keep changing their name! Michael Robinson (he's a FISOer) has 3 in the top 100 but i assume they'll all be on premium on the same account so can't change his name of various accounts like Adam Coles seems to have done.

to be fair, is it any wonder nobody's been paid out yet. I know there is a lot of criticism towards the sun regarding how long it's taking for people to receive there cheques (quite rightly), but given the option surely people would rather them make sure everythings above board & and everybodys who they say they are before paying out.

Adam Coles didn't win in week 1.

week 1 was over 8 weeks ago.

a win in the T'C'S states it would be not just poaid but spent by now.

theres something eff wrong!.

like what though? you make it sound like there gonna do a runner with everyones money.

don't get wrong me its a crap service, bordering on incompetent, i'd be sacked if i didn't meet my deadlines like they haven't & i'd be pissed if i was owed money but if they've got legal wranglings from last season hanging over them, there gonna make sure everythings spot on this time surely.

just trying to suggest a reasonable(ish) reason why its taking so long :?

I dont believe (personally) there's any legal wrangles ongoing from last season(with legs).

As far as i'm aware they paid out Tam and his 20 aliasses the 100 bags.

They aint gonna ask for it back.

Waiting this long to pay out ANYBODY so far in the BIGGEST FANTASY FOOTBALL GAME ON THE PLANET is making thie game look SHAMBOLIC imo.

iT's worse than a free game if you can't ascertain and pay out winners over this length of time.

BTW i'm not a winner .

How hard can it be for a group of people in fact it only needs one person and should take about a days work:

1. Take the top 100.

2. Look for identical names, remove the obvious fraudulent ones, or investigate if unsure ie. IP address's used.

3. Fill any remaining top 100 places with those outside the top 100.

4. Send all 100 winners an email Congratulating them and advising them they will get their money soon.

5. Go through all 100 winners details, writing cheques as you go, those without their details on their accounts should be emailed asking them to get their butts in gear.

6. Send remaining cheques out.

Or if The Sun used their common sense they could have simply made it compulsory to add your details ie. address etc when you sign up.
