Of the 100 winners each week what percentage roughly are block defences?

Depends how you define block defences e.g. 4 or 5 of the back 5 from the same club

Looks to me that sometimes it matters, and sometimes it doesn't matter :!:

I guess a simplistic way of looking at is that in those weeks with hatricks (2, 3 & 5) it's much more important to have the right star man , in the other weeks, the block defence is a reasonable tactic (I don't know the stats on expected hatricks but it seems like we've had more than normal so far)

Suppose the total number of clean sheets is a factor, as is the supplementary defender.

Are you able to tell %age of entries into WDT that are premium?

not without spending a few days on it , so no.

But I would hazard a guess that the top 100 is fairly representative of the overall entry(roughly a 50-50 split) which would mean most of the premium entrants have a go at this (maybe 80-90k so 70% of the premium total) and a lot of the freebies don't bother ( maybe 100k so 10%)
