Again Chelsea are not involved for a consecutive weekend, playing Blackpool on Monday.

Van Persie, Walcott are fresh injuries.

Hernandez has replaced Berbatov?

My first attempt at this, any tips from those that play most weekends?

Its just complete luck really, if you know your football you will know who to pick. In my opinion If you only have a few teams then your best bet is to go with someone knowone else is likely to pick as your star man.

thought i'd start off with 15 teams, 3x5 blocks/semi blocks, with a mix of 4+4 midfielders/strikers of a mixed kitty of 10 of each players I fancied, i'll go 7/8 more obvious captain picks and then a bit more random for the remaining teams, see how I fair to gauge whether I give it another shot another time

Sounds good, you have chosen a good week to throw in some teams seeing as you can easily rule out a lot of players who are injured or ineligible. Also a large number of teams will have these kinds of players so you will have an advantage on them.

Sanjay, can you pause your WDT automator for an hour or so while I try and get my teams in? You're killing the site for me

What's especially annoying is when the My Teams page suggests that you've not entered the WDT team you just submitted, so you go to do it over again only for it to say "Team already entered into WDT". Then you go back to My Teams, see it's still marked as not entered, go through it all for the third time and then finally it recognises that you have actually done it.

If Arsenal keep a clean sheet its in the bag guys, sorry

b) I'm realistic enough to know that taking a punt on Fulham is both risky and short term.

i.e. a City team/League will have a chance EVERY week. Whereas a Fulham one will be short lived (if at all).

i'll get my excuses in early, left it a little late and entering 15 teams took a little longer than expected and my written plans went up in smoke, my extra 3 players and captain picks were completely random rather than to what I had planned, oh well

Its pretty much random anyway. I just usually stick to the same 3 each week however this week i didn't but i starred Tevez in all its about time he got a hat trick.

I also went Tevez Star Man crazzzyy.

You would expect one of City's strikers to destroy Wigan.

Mancini seems to be very fond of Balotelli unfortunately. That's three times on the bench for Dzeko now, getting a bit annoying How am I supposed to take the Amnesiacs Trophy with bench warmers

I have the Arsenal defence with Duff as Star Man and Balotelli, and Berba to play.

I won't even have a chance with that team unless those 2 do something.
