A third of the way through the season already it seems. RVP and Silva are popular already but i'd go for Dunne, O'Hara and Suarez* this week if I only had one team without them in.

Dunne - interesting choice, but I don't think I'll be picking him much. Will be looking at Collocini and Jones.

O'Hara - nah, not for me. I saw him play at The Hawthorns and was not impressed at all. I'll be looking at Nani, Silva and Yaya.

Suarez - yep, an abvious choice. I'll be going with him, Rvp, Ba and Hernandez.

Gone back to the scattergun approach as whenever I have one of the top 5 picks I never seem to have a decent team to go along with the starmen.

Blackburn been leaking a lot of goals so have stuck in some Ramires and Lampards.

Fulham and Stoke playing tonight and sometimes do poorly in the league at the weekend so have plenty Spurs and a few Bolton players.

A few Wolves players despite saying 'never again' with them but hey its Wigan at home 8-)

For some reason, probably cos he got to take the penalty against WBA, I have a few Charlie Adams in there as well

Good luck everyone.

Obviously thats where the smart money will be (along with about 20k other managers).

No harm in covering a few leftfield picks.

Didnt play last weekend. Home game this weekend.
No Gerrard.

"Could" be his weekend.

Playing it cool 8-) I thought it went on time of entry of the team at the start of the season (therefore team ID) rather than time of entry of WDT.

In the case where the number of tied entrants for a £100 prize goes beyond the 100th position, then the prizes will be awarded according to the time and date of entry of the eligible team in order of the earliest entry down to the hundredth position

I guess it's debatable, but looking at the winners lists, they are not in team id order so WDT entry is my interpretation

EDIT - people currently moaning on Facebook about timeouts so it's obviously struggling at the moment

That's good for me then if that is right as all my entries were after the millionth!

Got an email with this subject earlier:-

"£100 to £10,000 to be won with Weekend Dream Team‏"

You'd think asfter 10 weeks they'd get it right...unless it is right :?

Why would you pick Suarez, half the entrants will pick Suarez which ruins your chances.

Whereas no1 will pick Kuyt as Star Man so if he did get a Hat Trick you will have a decent chance of winning something. And Kuyt is capable of doubles/hat tricks.

Yeah...I tried that approach at the beginning of the season. Picking random players that I thought had a chance of a good weekend but it never happened.

Kuyt could be a good shout though. I was picking players like O'Hara and it just never paid off.

Can't see past the big guns this weekend. Nice home games for Rooney, RVP and Suarez. That's where my money is.

Yeh, I've gone with RvP fairly big this weekend (even though he's playing us), with Hernandez (worried again about Rooney playing to deep to midfield for my liking), with a few more on Ba and of course Suarez.

But I'm hedging my bets on RvP.

Kuyt, Dempsey, Leon Best, Ramires, Agbonlahor.......players people r unlikely to pick but capable of getting a double or more.

A lot of clean sheets is going to make it difficult to win this weekend....

Also those trusty Suarez / Van Persie Star Man decisions went well for everyone then....

I have one with Bent as Star Man, With Lampard, Walcott, Enrique, City Defence to play, still too crap though.

Have Bent starred but its in a block Fulham defence, god knows why :?: Not hopeful of that one so hope someone else comes through tomorrow.

Also just from what I have read about the match and from the sky coverage I'm far from sure Bent would be star man in the match anyway which obviously lessens the necessity of having him

Unlucky, Only Hangeland left to get you a clean sheet, you never know you may still have a chance of £100 as the rest of your team is pretty strong. If hangeland gets you a clean sheet and a goal I think you probably will be good for a prize.

Thanks Guys, think I am out of it by now..
In response to my block Fulham defense from Blexley11 and the obvious question as to why Senderos is still there ..I missed the deadline for doing the transfers for all my teams..I thought it was 23.59 not 21.59 on the Monday night..
I was working in the Boston that week when I tried to do my transfers at 5:30pm EST (10:30 GMT) and then I found out..as you can imagine I was pi&&&sed.
I kicked chairs, threw pillows and tossed a rubbish bin around my hotel room and then opened the minibar!!. I almost threw my laptop..
Guess thats what you get when not paying enough attention.

I was bringing in Enrique.
