However they have to have played some part in every match to qualify as a waste of space. (If you are picking a player who does not play it is the manager who is a waste of space! )

And he played so well in gameweeks one and two.

Mine just beats yours, I have Miller from Sunderland with 23 points and 619 minutes played.
I keep him as my first or second sub, always gets a game mainly as sub (I think) so a sure fire one or two points if subs needed.

Not sure Baines counts as he didn't play first 3 games of the season. He is in my team also (if he counts?)

I have set myself the challenge of carrying the legend that is Titus Bramble through the season.He hardly plays for me-but he does for Wigan.
11 games,990 minutes of fairly futile endeavour for a mere 22 points.

Hibbert (17) has missed 2 games
Next is Ronaldo! (31) missed a few
Finnan (34) missed one
Jerome (35) is my lowest with some minutes in every game (and hence my answer according to the letter of the rules). Shocking thing is that I have only just bought this waste of space!

Ol' Titus has spent more time on the pitch than Miller and scored less points, a true waste of space, well done.

Gordon - 30

I would have had this one sewn up if Muamba had made an appearance against Liverpool. He has 19pts in 766min, and Liverpool is the only game he hasn't taken any part in. He's been in my squad from the start but hasn't yet made it onto the pitch, either through my first 11 or through auto subbing. He's just super cheap and gets 2pts just about every week.

Carlton Cole has missed 4 games this season, so he's not elligible either. I think Gordon(30) is krisp's lowest scoring elligible player then also.


(i don't suppose there's any chance of special dispensation for Muamba?? He's played an awful lot of football for very few points, a complete waste of space, and has only missed one game. Go on, you know you want to let him in!! )

Not only has he played in every game, he's played every minute of every game. And been in my squad the whole season.

Gordon & Geremi = 30 points.

Not that I have this player, but after a bit of detective work I found that Ooijer has played 665 minutes and scored 15 points.
He played just 1 minute in one game but it counts.

Taylor of Middlesborough has only missed 8 minutes of football so far this season, has dropped 0.2 in value, and amassed a huge 19 points for me so far I just never seem to have a free transfer to get rid of the waster!

Bought in GW6 for the bench. He did his job with autosubs for 3 and 2 points. I may keep him until his double week, whenever that may be, but he's now 0.8m over base price (Kavanagh loaned to Sheff Wed).

when i drafted mceverley as a cheap filler goat back in gw4's wildcard i had no idea he'd be worthwhile in a pointless way. just wish he'd made the starting XI in gw10 for his freak 9 pts.
