Looking ahead to the end of season finale at Valderrama on Nov 1st.
Can someone please clarify a ruling !
The end-of-season showpiece is only open to the top 60 players on the European Tour, but do the players have to play a Minimum number of events to qualify ?

I don't think so, but I'm pretty sure that they have to be registered European Tour members, which equates to almost the same thing...as you need to play a certain number of events to remain a member.

However, not all the top 60 will take up their invites, but the leading Europeans probably will as there's precious Ryder Cup qualifying points at stake.

Playing 3 weeks on the bounce in the Far East. Lots of appearance money no doubt, but always think it's a shame when the Euro players miss the final event of the European Tour year .
