A little late but I'm in.
Very high standard in this league with already plenty of high scores.
Sadly for my team THE OLD TOMCATS I'm in 26th position out of 39.
Good luck to all
Tom

This is really a fantastic mini-league to be in. The scoring is stupendous, so good in fact that FISC has moved up 67 places in the IKTS League of League Championship. We are now in 34th position out of thousands.

So how did I do?
50-50 good and bad. There were 11 players who had better scores than me and nine of them already sit above me in the table but I did move up in the IKTS national membership. And I would be about 6th in the Talksport Pundits League which is where I always go for comparison.
I'm also top ENGLISHMAN in our league. There are plenty of Brits, but they must bel be Scots, Irish or Welsh.

As you might have guessed by now I'm a devotee to TalkSport's Predictor game and will be in for the full journey. So to those above me, don't slacken off because I'll be plodding on each week.

After a long wait for the IKTS results and league table to arrive, it once again show what a strong league Fisco is. We have moved up 14 places to 31st in the Championship table – top team on page 2.
My team dropped 2 places.

I'm sure IKTS will get their Internet site working soon – I remember Barclay's Fantasy Football having a similar problem a few years ago.
Possibly because two players near the top of the table were unable to log in to place their forecasts on Saturday, they have both been awarded computer generated scores of 100 points each and in getting them have leap-frogged many of us. Grrrrrr.

International weekend coming up so that will give IKTS time to sort themselves out – hopefully.

I sent a bit of feedback to IKTS and this is one of their answers that might be of interest to all

- Player’s real name and not their username are being used on the league tables
Players can choose to show their real name or username, which is why you're seeing both. Where the real name is displayed the player has chosen to do so. They can change it by going in to their Account Settings section and changing the Show Real Name checkbox accordingly:

That's because fixtures involving the top 4 teams only get a x2 bonus.

Having said that, the x2s and x3s for gw4 are currently showing incorrectly.

Gameweek 4 did not produce great drama - mostly predictable results.
However we have a new leader. Mick MacPaddyWack scored a creditable 130 points this week and takes over top of table with a total of 370 points.
I think with a name such as that, one does not need to check his country's flag to determine Mick's background. :D
High score this week was accomplished by Addicted 1207 with 185 points, which moves this player up from a lowly 26th to a top ten position at 7th in table.

FISCO remains a high flyer in IKTS's Championship table although we did drop 9 places this week from 31st to 40th . A temporary blimp I'm sure.

Not to mention my 185 points moving me up from 26th to 7th!

Now have I got the hang of this game or was it fluke!

Gameweek 5 was one for the better players to demonstrate their knowledge of the game. And by golly do we have some good players in FISO: so good that this league has moved up to 22nd in the national IKTS League-of-League Championship.

Our leader MickMacPaddyWack has increased his lead to 40 points with a fantastic score of 150 points. Early in the season but he must already be thinking of buying metal polish to shine the silverware trophy.

Top scorer this week was Martin Dalzell with 180 points, which takes him up to 3rd.
Obviously with these two high flyers it is the cream settling at the top.

The Old TomCats dropped down the table as if they were in a falling lift with no brake - despite an average score of 55 points. This team is now 21st, down from 15th but the only consolation their manager has is that they actually went up in the national IKTS listings.
It is the first season The Old TomCats have entered FISO league and is more than pleased to be competing against such good opponents. Their manager expects to do better than average by season’s end so a top 10 finish will please him.

I know MickMacP of old ... he is a sprinter, not a marathon man & I've seen him looking good up to week 30 of this competition, before tailing off miserably ... look to someone else for a leader, although I'm happy to play pacemaker for a while :D

GameWeek 6 continues to throw up unusual Premiership scores. Not one of the top 30 in FISO managed to gain a bonus this week, and in actual fact only two players out of the 41 earned a bonus. I lost my bonus on a supposed cast iron solid forecast of a home win by Man Utd. Curses.

Back to the league:
MickMacPaddyWack remains in top position despite a zero score this week.
However under this No 1 spot, all is change for the next 15 teams.
Mike 1222 is this week's top scorer with 130 points which moves him up from 14th to 6th in the table.
Sadly FISO dropped 7 places in the IKTS Championship from 22nd to 27th.

The Old TomCat managed to regain a top 20 position at 17th with a week's score of 40 points.

Gameweek 7.
FISO remains one of the country's top IKTS leagues moving up 5 places into 24th position in the Championship.
Top scorer this week was GeoffV with 165 points, but alas for him being a member of such a competitive league he remains in the lower half at 24th.
MickMacPaddyWack remains in top spot with a weekly average score of 65 points. His good luck remains that none of his nearest competitors can manage a few week's continued good scores in a row.
The Old TomCat moved up one place but is disappointed not to have achieved a +100 point score this season.

International weekend coming up so will give all players extra time to ponder their forecasts.
Good luck England.

Gameweek 8 and we have a new leader: Harsh Chopra who flies the Canadian flag. He scored a very creditable 150 points but the player of the moment is Jimmy Greaves!!!!! with 215 points.
Jimmy moves up to 4th in our league but more importantly he is 9th on the IKTS Manager of the Month leaderboard.
MickMacPaddyWack drops to 3rd but with a fairly decent score of 75 points, which is an indication of the mass of high scores by many players this week.
The Old TomCat moves up a position to 15th with a score of 90 points.
Alas FISC drops one place to 25th in the IKTS Championship.

That 215 is the one big score I'll get this season.

I had a football bet at the weekend as well: Man U - Southampton Draw, Stoke-WBA Draw and Crawley - Bradford Away Win.

Jimmy Greaves can go to the end of his granny's gate and shout that after Saturday's results (Gameweek 9) his team are in joint top spot for the entire IKTS October Manager of the Month with 530 points.
Congrats and keep it going for the next few games and then give the rest of us a chance.

Gameweek 9. Another high scoring week with Harsh Chopra moving into a 15 point lead at top of table.
Jimmy Greaves, our October superstar, has moved up into runner-up spot. His final IKTS MoM position was 8th: one position better than last week. Sunday's result let him down for the MoM title.
Top scorer this week was TRDW with 180 points that moves him up 9 places to 13th with an overall score of 585 points.
The Old TomCat had what he thought was a decent score of 70 points but that was well below average and he drops places in both FISO and IKTS.
FISO dropped one place to 26th in the IKTS League of League Championship.
