£50,000 Daily Record FF is now 2 for 1!

Post by ytm »

If you've been waiting all summer for your Fantasy Football fix, then the wait is almost over. Remember, the SPL season kicks off THIS SATURDAY!

You can now get TWO teams for just a fiver!

What better way to enjoy the big day than to get your Daily Record Fantasy Football team entered? Then Gretna vs Falkirk could take on hitherto unknown significance with a £25,000 first prize on the line!

Will you cheer on Celtic's Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink to bag a hat-trick at home to Kilmarnock? Or will you be rooting for a Killie clean sheet?

To whet your appetite even further, we have set up the 25% off discount code "FISOFORUM" specifically for FISO users - there is now a £25 minimum spend attached to this code and you can only use this once, but the discount applies to as many teams as you choose to enter.

What are you waiting for? To be in with a chance of scooping our amazing cash prizes, enter those teams NOW!

Mean looking forward line but with the amount of strikers Celtic and Rangers have at their disposal there will be a lot of rotating. Big Jan always looks to me like an accident waiting to happen and Chris Boyd is a one trick pony. I am not sure how long Walter patience will last with Boyd when he has other Strikers who will work their socks off for him. Paul le Guene sussed Boyd out PDQ.

+ Walter Smith wasn't in a hurry to play him when he was national team manager. Boyd for me is a biggie - do you put him in or leave him out?

My first instinct was to put him in, but after last night when Walter had to make the choice of which Striker to take off to enable him to bring on a Defender he chose to take of Boyd and leave on Darchville. I think that there is a message there somewhere. I also thought that Sebo looked mean and fit and I wouldn't be surprised that given his work rate up front Walter may be tempted to play him more often than Boyd.

If you think that Rangers have an abundance of forwards have a look at Celtic......it really is ridicolous and now they're signing Naismith.

In one season Kenny Miller has gone from first choice to about sixth choice. Although to be fair he is rubbish.

He'd probably be third choice at Forest. :D .

Seems like Celtic have adhered to the old Liverpool adage of buying players who've caused the team problems. But he's bought the last two top scorers at Hibs and Motherwell's top scorer. Agree they have far too many strikers now. I actually think O'Riordan is the best of the lot but he can't get a chance.

I have put a post up in the team news section (will probably get lost amongst the stickies) with some thoughts on SPL starting XI's for saturday... would welcome input from anyone who might be playing the Daily Record game this season!
