Mainly due to planning what team I want in GW31 but without sacrificing the 2 GWs before that. Want Higuain eventually but don't fancy getting rid of Auba yet, want Hazard but don't fancy getting rid of Son yet. Getting rid of Foster was the obvious choice considering Watford play City next week (and possibly even a resurgent Leicester this weekend).

Shame to see him go, brought him in on my wildcard before GW20 on 29th December, since then he's given me 42 points in 9 GWs, an average of 4.6 per week - I'd have bitten your hand off for that when I brought him in.
This word-for-word matches how I'd put my thoughts/planned transfer this week, excepting "Kun" <-> "Auba". We even wildcarded the same week!! Great minds and all that, so a Watford CS and saved pen it is!

Still going back and forwards. Original plan was to go Son to Hazard and captain him but I am going cold on that. Hazard's early transfer midweek didn't help and I can see the same happening again this week. Besides Hazard has just not done enough FPL-wise in recent weeks. Sterling (C) is the player I would really like but I can't quite afford to go straight from Son to Sterling. It will probably cost me another hit down the line but thinking that might be worth it. Easiest way to afford the transfer is go Lloris to Fabianski which gives me a GK for GW31 and good fixtures for the next couple of weeks.

GW29 Transfers - Deadline: 02 Mar 11:30

I’m also very tempted to take a hit and bring in plus captain Sterling, although I need to remove Aubameyang along with that and I have gone cold on all mid-priced strikers. I’d pick Arnautović ideally but Redmond/Aubameyang  Sterling/Arnautović leaves me with not enough cash to do Son/Jota  Hazard/Barnes in two GWs time.

I'm not sure it is without the -4. I have been pondering this move to allow TAA to join Robbo and VvD at the back. My problem is having a sensible Capt in the 1st BGW as an Lpool attacker seems the obvious choice?

But then Capt Sterling this GW has a delightful appeal as does those 3 arb.

Decided in the end:

Salah to Mane
Kola to D Luiz
Son to Harzard

Leaves enough in the bank for Shaw to Rudiger next week, which gives me the 3 Chelsea I want (would rather Azpi over Rudi ideally but no issue).

Leaves me in decent nick for FH31, DGW32 and will take a hit to get a side out in GW33.

Do you think Ashley Barnes is still as nailed as he can be? I need a forward up to 5.9 and he's the only one that fits the bill.
Yes.

Is TAA nailed or is he in and out of the starting line-up?
Just back from injury
Yeah, I reckon he’d be pretty nailed now.
Cheers to you both.

Rondon  Rashford done. I have basically reversed the transfer I did last week and it feels great, I don't trust Rondon one bit and my team looks much better on paper with Rashford in it.

Two frees, only planned on using one but circumstances dictated:

Auba to Vardy
Patricio to Ryan (thanks for that Nuno!)

Why did you bring in KDB? I know I have him (duh) but I brought him in as a punt for the DGW. However, he has looked a shadow of himself, awfully of the pace, in the games I've seen him play recently and I can't wait to get rid of him again.

2 FT I did Digne  TAA yesterday and had planned to keep the second. However, due to having Patrício and Hamer I need a goalkeeper to cover for the next weeks so Patrício  Fabianski (although I was actually thinking of going goalkeeperless for 31 and save that transfer).
Boruc would have been my favourite option due to his price, but feel he is one mistake away of being back on the bench again for Begovic who is a solid goalkeeper. Missing out on 0.1 on my second favourite, Heaton, so it has to be Fabianski.

yes I saw Jesus flag removed this morning and I'm thinking Aguero might get a rest, I had already decided to Captain Sterling so will have a defender coming in if Aguero doesnt start. Kolasinac  Luiz

I'm expecting most DGW's to be played in GW35.

WC'd it this week. Everything set bar the identity of my second choice keeper.

Got £4.6m in the bank. Can't decide between Foster and Guaita. Who both have upcoming DGW's at some point.

Or should I go with Boruc, who doesn't have a DGW, but is cheap as chips at just £4m, and has a decent fixture in FUL in GW35 when I'm planning to play my BB.

Thoughts please.

Gamble is probably the best word, the same goes for Higuain. I would like to cover up ground and I feel these two has the potential to do that for me, even though they haven't showed it on the pitch. I am FH31 and either BB/TC32 so my transfers are directed towards DGW players and feel De Bruyne will play most of the minutes up until GW33. I could have gone Rashford/Hazard (which had been a more senseful move and probably have higher expected value) instead but as said I am all-in unfortunately my hand is probably something like a flush draw (hopefully with a backdoor straightdraw)

I've made two uncomfortable 'sideways' transfers for free. Son to Hazard and Aubameyang to Vardy. In isolation, I'd prefer to have kept Aubameyang but I had to use one of my frees in preparation for GW31. This week kind of feels like trying to win a 10-player hand of Hold 'em with a pair of twos. (hopefully with a backdoor to leave this gameweek unscathed!)

Good news is potentially some relief from the recent Aguero onslaught, Rashford starting and Wan Bissaka easing transfer plans for next week.

Auba to Higuain.
Shot in the dark but decent fixtures, a likely dgwk 32 and no blanks.

Considering sane to hazard for a -4

Done the same. Annoyed I didn't bench him instead last week.

Also done:

Kola --> D Luiz
S Cook --> TAA

Don't think I have any strategy, just shooting from the hip. Feels a lot less 'stressful'.

I did it to now (-8).

Salah  Sterling
Trippier  TAA
Aubameyang  Aguero

All out on Liverpool defence (TAA, Alisson, Robertson) and Man c attack (Aguero, Sterling, Sane).

Just hope it will go well!

What’s everyone doing with Arnautovic? Is it worth a -8 to get him out this week?
