I can see Son scoring as well as Arsenal are leaky although I understand the clamour to get Hazard in and would probably do it myself if I could afford it.

Did VVD > TAA last night to fund Son > Mane which I'm already regretting. Is Son > Mane worth a -4 with price rises or wait a week? Building for a 31 team.

Ditto, they could easily throw away that CL spot.

This feels like the most important transfer so far this season, as I think it's the one that finally commits me to FH31. I could keep my options open by swapping Son for Hazard, but I don't really trust Chelsea, despite a favourable set of fixtures. Loads of people selling Pogba, but I've even considered getting him in, should I make that FH31 commitment. Decisions, decisions...

For those who are considering bringing in Agüero: Pep: “We cannot live with just Sergio – in the last 15 mins he was exhausted. When you play every three days, in March & April, it is demanding. Everybody needs a little break. Mendy is back but not completely ready.”

It's obvious what Pep is saying then.

Mendy up front against Bournemouth. :wink:

I think Aguero will start against Bournemouth, especially if Jesus is still injured. City are decimated in defence and Bournemouth are very able to score goals, so it's potentially a tough match for City. After this match they have a luxury of week's rest until next match. I think Aguero starts and probably comes off around 60 minutes if they are leading comfortably.

I watched the video in which Pep says that quote (link below) and basically he is talking the general "we need everyone, we want Jesus back soon" jargon and mentions Aguero as a curiosity so I wouldn't read too much from it.

Looking at my current squad and preparing for GW31, I'm most likely going to do Bednarek > someone

Got £5.7m in the bank, though I'm actually leaning towards Diop. West Ham have a few pretty good fixtures coming up.

I'll likely keep rolling my second transfer until I need to use it, going to wait as long as possible before deciding whether or not getting Hazard in is worth it.

Eying up Pedro. 6.3m and his stats are great (8 goals and 1 assist) seeing as how little he plays and rarely lasts the whole game (1310 minutes played, 28 games in = 46 minutes player per 90, on average).

The last bit being the reason I'm also wary of bringing him in

He's only 16 points behind Eriksen, who is 9.4m, for comparison.

Auba -> Higuain is the planned transfer.
However, my defence includes AWB, Yedlin and Kolasinac, so I may be forced into shoring that up instead if I don’t get positive news in the pressers!

Pondering between either doing Auba -> Higuain for free or getting Hazard + Barnes for Richarlison and Auba (-4). Leaning towards the no hit route at the moment though still undecided.

Contemplating -8

Salah --> Mane
Doherty --> TAA
Son --> Maddison
Jimenez --> Higuain

Is TAA nailed or is he in and out of the starting line-up?

Yeah, I reckon he’d be pretty nailed now.

Already did Auba > Higuain but hesitating with Laca > Aguero due to possibility of reduced minutes thanks to Jesus returning.

Might remove Laca but upgrade mid or def.

Do you think Ashley Barnes is still as nailed as he can be? I need a forward up to 5.9 and he's the only one that fits the bill.

Ended up doing a rather dull Foster > Fabianski and I'll roll my second transfer for I think the third week in a row now.

Mainly due to planning what team I want in GW31 but without sacrificing the 2 GWs before that. Want Higuain eventually but don't fancy getting rid of Auba yet, want Hazard but don't fancy getting rid of Son yet. Getting rid of Foster was the obvious choice considering Watford play City next week (and possibly even a resurgent Leicester this weekend).

Shame to see him go, brought him in on my wildcard before GW20 on 29th December, since then he's given me 42 points in 9 GWs, an average of 4.6 per week - I'd have bitten your hand off for that when I brought him in.
