Re: GW 27 Captaincy (Deadline: 22/02, 18:45)
Currently on Aub (C) Filipe Anderson (VC) but also own Son, Pogba, Salah... tough one this week. I'm doing Aub > Aguero after the GW though so I think I'm obliged to give him the armband.

Currently on Kola (C) and Son (VC)!
May get Lacazette in for Firmino (to then become Aguero) - depending on chip use etc.

Re: GW 27 Captaincy (Deadline: 22/02, 18:45)
Have been considering bringing Mane in for (C) but already have three LFC players so with 1FT it'd most likely mean taking Allison out for a -4 hit and finding a replacement GK to the bargain.
The obvious one of course is Auba (C). I'd be willing to tx Aguero out then back in for him. Can justify the decision for the sake of fielding XI and having a strong captaincy choice.
Arsenal have two easy home games coming up in Southampton and Bournemouth. Depending on Auba's GW27 haul I might be tempted to keep him for Bournemouth too, but we'll see on that one.

Currently Pogba (c) Salah (vc)
Pogba has only blanked once since Ole took over back in GW18. 8 goals and 6 assists since then. On pens. If Salah was in as good form he’d be highly considered so I find it strange Pogba has 0 votes.

I anyone concerned with Aub on the armband now? He played 90 min last night and they were 3-0 up by the 60th. SOU is definitely a game where he could play Laca on his own maybe an Aub cameo?

Re: GW 27 Captaincy (Deadline: 22/02, 18:45)
Anything's possible although we've been here with Auba before and the guy just plays every minute. If there's a game to miss, it's probably the midweek one before the North London derby but he's more likely to be withdrawn early than miss out. Yes annoying he had to play 90mins but that perhaps shows his fitness levels compared to others.

All good points tbf, I think the fact that I have Son Salah Pogba and F Anderson is tempting me to put the armband elsewhereSutter Kane wrote: ↑22 Feb 2019, 08:58 Anything's possible although we've been here with Auba before and the guy just plays every minute. Re: GW 27 Captaincy (Deadline: 22/02, 18:45)
Gah, yeah I'd been set on Aubameyang captain for pretty much the past 2 weeks but after unnecessarily playing 90 minutes last night I'm really debating that now.
Don't want to go anywhere near the United - Liverpool fixture, then my only decent choice after that is Son. But then again, with Chelsea away midweek and the North London derby a few days later, I could easily see Son being rested this week too.
The alternative is to take a punt on Jimenez...

The thing is if he is on the bench I think he will definitely make a cameo. I have a funny feeling Filipe Anderson will score 1 and maybe another/an assist but its risky and Burnley whilst they have been awful have looked better recently which puts me off Son. AHHHHHHH.

I think I'm going to go with Son, or maybe Eriksen, although I reckon Tottenham's first draw of the season will come tomorrow.

Looks like it'll be one of Son(bur), Vardy (CRY), Arnie (FUL) or Salah (mun) for me. Find it tough to pick between them, so crapshoot time.

Re: GW 27 Captaincy (Deadline: 22/02, 18:45)
Maybe he is, but FFFix projections have Eriksen with a higher projected score. I don't think there's much in it.
Eriksen has much lower ownership as well so picking him would be the higher variance play.

I presume this means you are keeping Aguero and not bringing in an Arsenal striker?Pirlo's Beard wrote: ↑22 Feb 2019, 14:04Not tempted by The Pog?
It will be Sonny for me (matching my mood, hopefully) with Pogba vice.

Re: GW 27 Captaincy (Deadline: 22/02, 18:45)
Same here on the keeping Kun rather than an Ars striker front. I'm not especially considering Pog tbh - I think he's in a group behind the captaincy peloton. I'm leaning a tiny bit towards Son too (just because of slight starting doubts over Arnie/Vardy). FFS projections seem to agree with their top 12 for this week being
Aubameyang 6.5
Son 6.5
Arnautovic 6.2
Salah 6.0
Lacazette 5.9
Vardy 5.6
Eriksen 5.4
Felipe Anderson 5.2
Rondon 4.8
Kolasinac 4.8
Pogba 4.7
King 4.7
Nobody really a standout with their projections in the usual sense (Salah way ahead on 8.7 next week for example).

If it's a complete coin toss, completely 50-50, then I'd go for higher variance. But personally I just think Son has better expected points.

Son (c)
Pogba (vc)
Aguero stays on the bench, I'm not tempted by Aub after seeing the game the other night. I can just about get XI out so I'm rolling my transfer.

Made a last minute switch from Son to Anderson. What a good call that turned out to be!

Aubam....oh balls...I did it in a rush and turns out I hit Rashford by mistake!
I'm hoping the mistake will work out for the best but I can't see it somehow.
