Auba didn't really pass the eye test for me.
As a short term replacement for Aguero with City’s blank GW27 yes. Aubamayang certainly looks like the premium replacement with the best fixtures over the next two gameweeks.

Whether I do it this week or next week remains to be seen. Aguero is rising and Aubameyang dropping but doesn’t look like there will be a price change anytime soon. Think it will depend how Aguero does on Wednesday.

There are no other obvious candidates I can see in GW 27, even as a one week punt.

Tricky decision Kun can easily do well against Chelsea
That’s exactly what I’m thinking
Deffo needs some thinking , may start a thread on it in the next few days
It’s worth waiting to make the switch. Aguero is being heavily transferred in; Aubameyang is currently dropping like a stone. Give it a day or two and it’ll be possible to make a saving!
absolutely ! i wouldnt make a change until after the evecity game anyway ......too much risk of injury

Considering:
Out: In:
Aguero Lacazette
Kamara Rashford
Hazard Son
Anyone else thinking about getting Lacazette instead of Auba? I owned Auba before DGW25 and he wasn't doing great and the 12 points against Cardiff felt also quite flukey- a penalty and an assist for a short pass when Lacazette scored that wonderful goal..

Sterling to Son - did yesterday.

1FT remaining, so may do Digne out, but currently really like my GW26 team, so may not swap him out and just accept his value will decrease a bit (I got him at 4.8 anyway). Anyone think Kola may not start after getting the chop vs City, because he's the one I was looking at.

Team for GW26 currently:

Ederson
Shaw, Robertson, Doherty,
Pogba, Salah, Sane, Son,
Firmino, Rashford, Jiminez

All have nice fixtures. With Bennett, Digne and some others making up numbers on the bench.

For GW27 I think I will need to get Ederson out probably, unless there's a starting 4.0 GK I can get in for Hamer. Then I can have a bench of Ederson, Digne, Sane and Schneiderlin (don't ask).

Fancy Aguero to do well against Chelsea. Big game player. Think I read yesterday that he has 42 goals in games against top 6 sides? Hell of a record. I can see the appeal in Auba for sure, but would probably be the week after for me.

Great move this week. Would love to bring Son in for Richarlison if I could afford it!

Agüero has got a good record against Chelsea. He will stay for me.

Feels like everyone is bringing Son in but I'm considering Sane  Mane

Think we could see a big reaction from Liverpool this weekend and Bournemouth have been poor on the road. Not sure I'd want three Liverpool for Man Utd away the following week though.

Hazard -> Son, done.

I think I’ll hold fire on Aguero -> Auba (assuming nothing silly happens on Wednesday).

I’m starting to plan for GW31/33/etc
I had been planning the same but looking at it I’m not sure that Auba fits into my plans, I may need to use the transfer to get a full team out in 31.
That somewhat depends on the next round of the FACup as well as this Wednesday, but holding *this* transfer and seeing what Kün can do against Chelsea is looking more likely

Yes, my thought process is very similar. On balance, I still think Auba will come in, but I will reassess after FAC Rd5 (before GW27).

Yeah got to watch planning for gw31 doesn't force you into sub-standard decisions though. At the cost of a hit in gw31, you may avoid getting smashed by everyone else's Auba(c) in GW27. Really depends on your GW31 team as it stands now I suppose.

Thinking the same. Auba seems a tad unsafe especially away from home.

My GW31 team is awful atm! But I have a route ... And for the sake of 1 hit Auba must come next week if not this. Surely?

The only question for now is who will do better in GW26 out of Aguero and Aubameyang.
As I am unsure all that I am suggesting is delaying that transfer so that I have two moves for GW27. One of those might well be Aguero to Aubameyang. Another option that I could opt for is a fit-again Arnautovic against Fulham and have a GW31 player in the fold already. And that could be for Ings instead depending how injured he is. Etc

Oh I'd stick with Aguero GW26 if he doesn't start tomorrow or he's pulled off after an hour. Anything else and I'd bring in Auba. There's very little chance I'd go without him for his 2 home games as so many will captain and with good reason. Auba to Arnie seems quite natural in gw29 if West Ham have a GW33, missing out Liverpool away in GW28. Although it's not a nice GW33 either...

I cannot see one mention of Higuain in this thread, but he seems to go up in price tonight.

Am I missing something? Chelsea have got ManCity away next in GW 26 and a blank in GW 27. Even though he is on my watchlist, I am not really interested in him prior to GW 28.

I would love to get Son in, but with four players from Chelsea and Man City I might just roll this week.

I was thinking they will switch formation slightly to fit in Suarez. Whilst this might mean more of a LB or LWB role for Kolasinac as opposed to the LM role he's been doing, I still think he'll be in the 11. I already have my Liverpool, Leicester and Wolves defenders in place so it's not the biggest gamble.

After putting my thinking cap on, to plan ahead for BGW/DGW's, I think it's going to be Sterling  Mane.

Sorely tempted by Son for DGW27 but don't like his GW28/29 fixtures and probable blank in GW31. The Mane move restores my complement of 3 Liverpool players, which will be the bedrock of planning. Also, currently backed into a corner somewhat by having zilch left in the bank.

Still might opt for DIgne  TAA though.
