GW16 Captain
Aubameyang for me, I'm on the Auba/Kane captaincy rotation now.

Re: GW16 Captain
I'm worried about two things.
1. Aubameyang getting a rest.
2. Missing out on an Aubameyang haul because of incorrectly guessing that he'd get a rest.
I'm more worried about the second thing than the first thing, so...
Aubameyang (C)
Sigurðsson (V)

I'm only half way to the Kane /Aubameyang captaincy thing, and the wrong half for this week!
Don't own Salah, so it has to be Kane.
Vc Torreira.

Kane captainers worried about a rest?
Considering Salah (c) Kane(vc) because of this.

Kane at the moment, but it’ll be Auba if I figure out how to bring him in.

Kane (c) at the moment, however I'm really scared of missing out on a potential Aubameyang haul at home to Huddersfield. Wondering also is Aubameyang due a rest?

Salah
- Just rested
- Slightly easier fixture than Kane
- I don’t have Auba and think there’s a chance he will not start anyway
- No mane to steal his points....

Re: GW16 Captain
Almost no chance Kane is benched, if they had any concerns over his minutes he’d have been subbed off early at 3-0 in midweek. It bodes well for Spurs congested festive fixtures too.
I’m tempted by Ryan this GW, the strategy of captaining someone playing against Burnley has borne fruit time and time again, they’re crap.

I think it’s about time you stop making such sarcastic comments regarding Burnley. Everyone knows you’re not going to captain Ryan, so why say you’re tempted to?Valeron wrote:I’m tempted by Ryan this GW, the strategy of captaining someone playing against Burnley has borne fruit time and time again, they’re crap.

Tell that to those of us that captained Salah yesterday.Valeron wrote:I’m tempted by Ryan this GW, the strategy of captaining someone playing against Burnley has borne fruit time and time again, they’re crap.
But really what you are trying to do is to goad Paul, isn't it? Which seems pretty petty if so.

Re: GW16 Captain
I know we've been crap this season, it doesn't bother me in the slightest that Val keeps pointing out the obvious. The only thing that's annoying me is his ignorant refusal to answer my question about these xG tables he claims to be using which supposedly show we're no worse than last season.Ruth_NZ wrote: ↑06 Dec 2018, 20:35Tell that to those of us that captained Salah yesterday.Valeron wrote:I’m tempted by Ryan this GW, the strategy of captaining someone playing against Burnley has borne fruit time and time again, they’re crap.

Lacazette(C). Salah(VC). Pretty confident on this one, which makes a change.

So you are confident even though FFS predicts that Lacazette won't start?Sutter Kane wrote: ↑06 Dec 2018, 20:48 Lacazette(C). Salah(VC). Pretty confident on this one, which makes a change.
I'm not saying FFS is right, just curious why you think Lacazette is likely to start?

Re: GW16 Captain
Well until Laca got injured, since GW3 he played every game I believe. Against easy opposition I think he's even more likely to play to increase the firepower, along with Auba, unless Aubameyang is tired. I have been wrong trying to predict managers before many times, but as I say, I can't really see a reason why Emery wouldn't start with Lacazette. I don't pay any attention to website's predicted lineups as nobody really knows. (well there are of course rare moments when someone gets wind of the team).Finisher1 wrote: ↑06 Dec 2018, 20:51So you are confident even though FFS predicts that Lacazette won't start?Sutter Kane wrote: ↑06 Dec 2018, 20:48 Lacazette(C). Then again I thought Salah would start and get pulled off early vs Burnley (much like Kane this weekend).

Re: GW16 Captain
Salah (c) Kane (vc)
I haven't got Aubameyang or Lacacette, but I am so uncertain who will be playing that I rather save the transfer. Apart from that, Huddersfield only got slaughtered by ManCity and maybe Chelsea at the beginning of the season, but otherwise they have been fairly solid. Obviously I am going to hide behind the sofa …
If in doubt do nowt

‘Alexandre Lacazette could, of course, be deployed alongside the Gabonese forward in a 3-4-1-2, or might even replace him as the spearhead of the Arsenal attack should Emery deem Aubameyang in need of a rest.’Sutter Kane wrote: ↑06 Dec 2018, 21:26Well until Laca got injured, since GW3 he played every game I believe. Re: GW16 Captain
The development of a back 5 has made things less obvious for Lacazette though,

Bit of a chicken and egg situation possibly. Holdings injury meaning a distinct lack of fit cbs should help that situation though in theoryBilly Bongo wrote: ↑06 Dec 2018, 22:20 The development of a back 5 has made things less obvious for Lacazette though,Sent from my SM-G965F using TapatalkSutter Kane wrote:Well until Laca got injured, since GW3 he played every game I believe. Yeah they only have two fit centre-backs so a return to a back four this weekend looks likely, which is disappointing for me as a Kolašinac owner. No Way Jose wrote: ↑06 Dec 2018, 22:28 Holdings injury meaning a distinct lack of fit cbs should help that situation though in theory
