GW15 Wildcards (2018/19)
Seriously considering it tonight, with Salah for Mane and Kane in being the big decisions. Will mull over it while I watch First Man at the local uni cinema though

Unless you've got a whole team of flagged players I wouldn't bother. I think WCs are highly overrated. Not sure I've ever been happy after playing one.

Re: GW15 Wildcards (2018/19)
I’m trying to hold off for GW17 at which point I’ll base wildcard around a Salah -> Sterling switch. But it could get triggered at any time really - I’m already making short-termist transfers so I’ll need it before long. If I get a bunch of injuries, or just do really badly today, I might end up throwing it in.

I am pretty close to London actually. My son's youth football match was postponed this morning because of the weather - just after I'd given him an earnest explanation about how footballers have to play through the rain.

Re: GW15 Wildcards (2018/19)
Well, after a pretty indifferent set of performances from my lot today, I find myself toying with wildcard drafts. I can do this:
Fabianski / Hamer
Robertson / TAA / Digne / Doherty / Wan-Bissaka
Sterling / Sané / B Silva / F Anderson / 4.5
Auba / Kane / Success
Feel like I may be chasing this week’s points a bit, and perhaps another day’s distance from GW14 will provide some much-needed perspective, but overall it’s making me quite like the idea of wildcarding now - this is hugely different to my current team.
Instead of Digne / Bilva I can have Alonso / 5.9... not sure which is better. And I haven’t tried any drafts with Aguero or Spurs mids yet. Enough to ponder anyway...

Re: GW15 Wildcards (2018/19)
Unsure if I should wildcard today or leave it for the midweek fixtures and activate it after.
Currently on the below after a -4. The major change on the wildcard would be Salah out but I do like the idea of him vs Burnley as his final week.
Ryan
Alonso Laporte Robertson Wan B
Salah Sterling Shaqiri Richarlison
Kane (c) Wilson

I'd like to hold out until just before the new year, I think. All the best to those going for it!

Re: GW15 Wildcards (2018/19)
For those who are considering to rotate defenders on their wildcards I would have a serious look at Chambers. Only £4.2 and twice deployed in Fulham's midfield while Ranieri was in charge. Big threat index according to FPL: 36.0 against Southampton and 63.0 against Chelsea. That is quite huge for a defender.
December fixtures: LEI, mun, WHU, new, WOL, HUD.

Only problem with that is they are so porous. Interesting pick up though jockJoccki_10 wrote: ↑03 Dec 2018, 20:06 For those who are considering to rotate defenders on their wildcards I would have a serious look at Chambers. They were porous. I thought they were the better side against Chelsea for 30 minutes at least. No Way Jose wrote:Only problem with that is they are so porous.
