2 - 1 Lac Smith Rowe made, surprised he has come on, but this kid is on a different plane , and is English put him with City's Foden and England might just have a bright future

4 - 1 Holding from corner, no am biased but if there are any better prospects than Smith Rowe will be amazed, watched them for over 60 years never seen a better one for us at that age, last hope was Jack this kid is better

Arsenal
Just smashed PSG 5 1 (b team) but still a good result and they looked great vs Atletico Madrid despite losing on pens.
However, Ramsey was playing kind of deep sadly.
Are you guys just going to ignore the difficult start fixture wise and confident enough to put their players in right now? Some of them appear to be bargains and I think real value can be found in them, if Arsenal get something from their opening 2 fixtures they could really build some momentum, not a bad squad I think.
Auba and Bellerin are particulary appealing and Leno. From what I understand though is that Emery does like to rotate FBs, similar to what Poch does, so it could be risky.
I think Laca will do well this season. But could end up rotated with Auba being the preferred option up top.
Mhki doesn't appear to be first choice at the moment.
Edit: sorry lads, I didn't see this thread.

Re: Arsenal (and Emerys notes)
very interested in one of their attackers, ideally Laca, no chance I'm touching their defence for GW1, maybe once they settle down.
Agree on Mkhi, don't think he's nailed, and have doubts on Ramsey too, they were running off him pretty easily today, he's not a deep lying player but how does he play an advanced role with the competition he faces?
Unsurprisingly, Auba is the safe pick, Ozil may be going under the radar though, he could be just as safe and is a proven FPL point scorer.
My feeling now is to wait for GW3 and then hopefully get Laca if he is holding down the central striker role.

Re: Arsenal (and Emerys notes)
Ozil is an interesting pick, could be good at 8.5 this season. I know he's not popular with a large section of supporters because of his poor attitude off the ball, but in reality he's still a very good creative player who now has a couple of excellent strikers ahead of him.

Re: Arsenal (and Emerys notes)
only 2.7% ownership, and seeing him as captain today, could he become the leader for Emery.ZeroRemorse wrote: ↑28 Jul 2018, 15:34 Ozil is an interesting pick, could be good at 8.5 this season. Anyone think Laca might hold better value than Auba?

Re: Arsenal (and Emerys notes)
yes, if he plays each week as the striker, I've no doubt he will score goals in that team, some brilliant creative players and he certainly knows where the net is.

Re: Arsenal (and Emerys notes)
Laca is more likely to not start than Auba as he can only play centrally?
There is an idea that Aub is on pens too.
It is easier to go from Aub to Kun\Kane, which is another string to my "safety first" bow for GW1.

Re: Arsenal
Difference between the 2 is strength Gedion had all the skills but not the power , fingers crossed this time, watching Smith Rowe hard to believe 18 today, club have to be sensible with him, give him games that dont have to much pressure on him in the Prem, but play him, build his confidence and we could have a very special player, nearest have seen to him in Prem terms is Foden at City in my view not lot between them

How well do people think Arsenal will do? I mean if he gets the front 3 of Auba-Lac-Mkty firing there are some good picks there- 4m for Lacazette could be a steal

Re: Arsenal
Laccasweat was on pens over Auba last season as far as I’m aware and does seem a better penalty taker. If Auba is on them this season he’s a no brainer even with the added 1.5m.

am 100% sure the first Aubameyang was on a hatrick and he gave it up to Lacamikeg13 wrote: ↑29 Jul 2018, 20:10Not 100% sure but thought they scored 2 each in league, dont remember Lac in to many cup games if any, just an opinion but would think Aub will be first choice coming season
he was trying to give him confidence for Europa

Only 1 have seen no mention of is Monreal, Torreria, Litchtstieiner were training today, not any others can think of missing.
We play Cfc tomorrow and Lazio Sat. thats game in my view will give best idea of our start 11 (not maybe new managers preferred 11) it is odd about Mon as dont think he played in WC strange no mention of him, there is lot of excitement about Torreria, fingers crossed its not misplaced, fair chance he will play Sat for at least part of game and if as I think he is on corner taking he will be in my FF team

Re: Arsenal
I was going to ask about Mon, as you say he hardly played and tbh I didn't now if he was in the squad.
There were some transfer murmerings earlier in July, but even they fizzled out.
re Torr: I saw what you mean about your defence needing some help etc.

Bellerin did not have best of season, he has played in pretty much all pre-season games, not sure that would have been case if Licht. had been available, fair chance he will play Sat so to me best to wait until last minute on that one.
